| Hazel |My face fell hearing that name come from her mouth. The confirmation of the situation made my heart sting a little.
Shuri cleared her throat, looking in my direction.
"Can you give us a minute?"
My eyebrows scrunched in confusion at her request.
"You're talking to me?" I asked, pointing to myself as if there were anyone else that she could possibly be talking to at that moment.
She nodded, placing her eyes on the ground.
I was a little offended that she would even ask me that. What was so secretive that I had to leave the room for them?
I scoffed, folding my arms across my chest and walking away quickly.
Somehow I found myself outside instead of back in the room.
Obviously because I'm bad at directions.
I figured it would probably be good for me to get a breath of fresh air, being that I was heated from being told to leave.
I sat down on the ground filled with grass, pulling my knees up to my chest and letting the wind blow through my hair.
I closed my eyes pondering over all of the decisions that I've made the past few months.
Maybe I shouldn't be here...
Clearly, whatever they had going on still means something to her.
To both of them.
I felt stupid for letting myself fall for her. I should've known it was too good to be true.
Hours felt like minutes as they passed and I just sat there, watching as the sun was starting to set.
I had no idea if Shuri was still talking to her ex or if she had come to look for me. I honestly didn't even care.
I was still filled with rage and in that moment I just wanted to go home more than anything else.
Maybe I will...
I stood up from the ground, deciding to finally go back inside and hopefully find my way back to her room.
I tiptoed through the halls, trying to find something that looked familiar, but of course nothing looked even slightly similar.
I felt myself starting to grow frustrated as I continued to roam around, completely lost at this point.
Where the hell is Shuri...
Maybe I wouldn't be lost if she were here and not entertaining her ex..
After roaming a few minutes more, I finally saw the double doors that looked like her room. I let out a sigh of relief as I opened the door, seeing that was indeed her room.
I was expecting to see her somewhere in here, but she wasn't. I checked the closet and bathroom as usual, but still no sign of her.
A part of me was starting to get suspicious while the other part was trying to convince me that there was no reason to be.
I walked over to the desk, opening it to look for the envelope, but it was nowhere to be found.
I started to pull everything out to make sure I wasn't overlooking it, but nothing. It was gone.
Did she give it to her?
She probably gave it to her..
There was nothing I wanted to do more than call Riri and express my frustrations right now, but I had already interrupted her sleep once today.
