'Huh, radio silence. Has he gone dead again?' I asked myself. I mean, in this chaos it's anyone's guess. I was able to shoot three more of these cunts then get a couple more kills. Even if I'm no longer working, I can still hit every shot. There are only three other people like myself with a hit rate of 100 percent. Eyes like a hawk and the speed of a Sparrow. The name I chose for myself almost thirty years ago. Almost forty four now, yet I still shoot and hit every target exactly.

'Like the boy I took under my wing.'

Ah, that was almost twenty years ago. Wow, I'm old. Maybe that's a good thing though. I've seen enough to help others, which leads me to my current mission. Getting survivors to Valley's. Well- she says her name is Valley-Claire, but I get away with just Valley or Claire. She's quite the menace with that chopper. And with her designs too. I'm actually wearing one of them now! Ah well. Guess it's just a few more minutes of searching.

'Huh? Who are those two?'

Two girls, one with long blonde hair and the other, brunette, with it in a messy ponytail. Maybe they're alive, and not upper shadows.

I'll go see.

I woke up after what I assumed to be an hour, to find that once again I was in the room from last night. Everything hurt, but maybe it was all a dream! Maybe this is just morning cramps, maybe Shooter and Sheriff are already awake and running around. Maybe Apocalypsis is still in the sewers with Namunami and Katani. Hopefully this is just my old man brian going to waste. No, I'm only 38. Jesus. I tried to get up but almost instantly cried out in pain, causing me to look down.

Bandages, lots of em.

No way in hell that pain came from morning cramps, but if those are there. That means everything actually happened. Katanis dead, Sheriff is half shadow and Doctor White is... No, I heard he died in that prison yard. The guards saw the light leave his eyes themselves. They even held a funeral for him! There is no way he's alive.

Unless he's a shadow like me.

"Who are you?" I asked with some fear in my voice. A woman was standing beside my bed. She had long hair made of shadow material, and a face on her chest. She didn't say a word at first, she seemed to be observing me.

"My name is Sula. I am an ex higher-up from the shadow leagues. I don't have any place to go, so here I stay." She said, looking at me with an empty face.

"Well Sula, I'm afraid your presence isn't requested or preferred. Please try another group of people." I said, trying not to be a dick. Clearly from the look on her face, I failed miserably.

"I don't think you realise what happens if I leave this place. You need to let me stay here. I can't exactly explain why now, but the moment I leave he'll know you're here." She said.

"No, I think we can ignore you. And if I think I know who he is, then we'll survive." I said, thinking about Ryan. He owes me one now.

"The king of the bone throne Duncan? His second in command Mary? His two henchmen HookBait and CandleMaker? I doubt it." She made a point of mentioning. I haven't heard HALF of those names. I didn't bother questioning any further. I knew Duncan for sure, Mary killed Katani, and I don't know the other two. Whatever. I don't think we're ready for any other messes today. I just sat there in complete silence with no need to say a word.
