"Look, ayaw kong makipagtalo sa'yo. This is an issue between me and Sven." Sagot ni Euphemia.

"The man wants you to get lost. I'm sure you know what that means."

"I'm not here to pick a fight." She reasoned out. "Tigilan niyo na ang pagpapanggap. I know you are not his girlfriend." Giit ni Euphemia. Not only is she clingy, but extremely stubborn as well!

"How about this? Papiliin mo nalang siya sa ating dalawa." I suggested.

Nilapag ni Sven ang bote ng whiskey sa kitchen island na animo'y handa nang pumili kahit wala pa ang tanong. I couldn't help but grin.

"Excited naman 'to masyado." Bungisngis ko. "Gagi, wala pa siyang tinatanong!"

Natatawang tumango si Sven. "Alright. Sorry. Ang tagal kasi eh."

Nagtagpo ang mga kilay ni Euphemia. "You're both crazy."

"I know. Kaya nga bagay kami eh." Sagot ko.

"Euphi? Bakit ka nandito?" A surprised Yuri broke the tension in the kitchen.

Tumikhim si Euphemia at hinarap ang kapatid. "Sasabay ako sa'yo pauwi. Can we go home now? I feel sick."

Sick in the head?

"Okay. Tara na..." Sagot naman ni Yuri. "Sven, Hani, mauna na kami."

"Drive safely, man." Sven replied.

I was suddenly struck by a realization. Yuri knew and understood why Sven wants the best for Serenity even if she doesn't deserve it. May kapatid ring babae si Yuri at ganoon din siguro ang nararamdaman niya.

"I'm sorry I had to do that to your first love," saad ko kay Sven noong umalis na sina Euphemia.

"She asked for it anyway. I clearly told her there's nothing left in here for her." Tinuro niya ang kaniyang puso. I can't help but grin.

"Good job!" I gave him a pat on the head. "But before she makes use of your secret to put you in a tight spot, unahan mo na siya. Sabihin mo na kina Yuri ang totoo. If you need help, sabihan mo lang ako."

"Just a quick hug, siguro?" He replied, pouting a bit. "If that's fine with you?"

"Alright, come here..." I opened my arms wide.

Lumapit siya sa akin at agad niyang binalot ang aking bewang ng kaniyang mga bisig. I wrapped my arms around him and gently tapped his back to comfort him.

"Dude, bakit umalis na sina Yu— Ooops! Sorry! Sige, ituloy niyo lang 'yan!" We heard Treble exclaim before he ran back up the stairs.

Natawa si Sven sa nangyari. So much so that he even held his stomach because it started to hurt.

"Tuwang tuwa ka diyan?" Sabi ko.

"Nangyari na kasi 'to dati." He chuckled heartily. "Pero baliktad. Ako naman yung panira ng moment nila ni Denzel nu'n. I guess what goes around really comes back around."

We were in such a good mood on the way home that I ended up not telling him the truth about Serenity and Lloyd. Isa pa, baka kapag nalaman niya ay mapunta doon ang focus niya. What if Euphemia takes advantage of that? Or anyone else for that matter?

I decided to wait until he confesses to his friends before breaking the news. Sa ganoon ay wala ng magagamit si Serenity na pamblackmail kay Sven.
