Hindi na ako nakipagtalo. Advantage naman sa akin ang hindi na ako magco-commute.

Pagdating namin sa shop ni Suzy ay mukhang abala siya. Still, she managed to talk to us for a brief moment. Naglabas siya ng isang rack na puno ng evening dress.

"Tapusin ko lang tong video conference with some VVIPs, so take your time." She said before leaving me and Sven to do the fitting and choosing by ourselves.

I tried a green V-neck sequined evening dress made of polyester, but it was too conservative. If I'm going to impress Lloyd so that he'll feel like he could share some secrets with me, then I should dress like the bold and daring person that I want him to see.

I tried a white strapless side slit evening dress next, and Sven's nod was telling me he liked it. Kaso parang... ang linis ko naman sa puti? Parang ang bilis ko madumihan, eh minsan pa man din ay clumsy ako. He frowned when I chose another dress.

It was a backless champagne gold sequin dress with an impressive slit. Oh the boldness of this one. Halos malaglagan ng panga si Sven but he managed to settle with a deep frown.

"It's too much." He commented.

"I know." I smirked. "That's exactly the point."

It has to be too much. Too bold. Too daring. Too far from my usual persona. I want to show Lloyd that I'm not a scaredy cat. I can be a cheetah too, or a tiger even, if I have to be.

"Oh my god, Hani!!" Tili ng kababalik lang na si Suzy. Her mouth formed a huge O. "Look at that sexy back!"

"She'll get the white one." Sven told Suzy. At sino naman daw siya para magdesisyon para sa akin?

"Ayoko nun. Ito ang gusto ko." Saad ko kay Suzy.

"Sure thing, girl!" Suzy squealed. She turned to Sven to narrow her eyes. "Don't stop her. Siya naman magsusuot. Bakit ka nakikialam?"

"I'm the one who'll pay." Sven reasoned out.

Lumapit ako sa kaniya at bumulong sa kaniyang tenga.

"Ako nalang kaya ang magbayad tapos ikaw ang magsusuot ng gown?" Bulong ko. He averted his gaze.

Lumayo ako at nginitian si Suzy. "Kunin na po namin ito. Anong oras ka po pala nagsasara ng shop? Dito nalang sana ako magbibihis mamaya."

"Hala, bad timing!" Sumimangot siya. "Sorry ha? Aalis kasi kami ni Sahara mamaya eh. Magsasara ako ng maaga. Sven, sa susunod sumama ka naman sa lakad namin. Tinatanong ka rin ng pamangkin mo eh."

"How's Spike doing?" Sven asked.

"Ayun, he's growing up to look so much like his father."

"Okay na sila ni Sahara?"

"Oo. Pero kahit na nagagampanan niya ang pagiging ama kay Spike, namimiss ka pa rin naman ng pamangkin mo. Laging nagtatanong yun kung busy daw ba lagi ang Tito Sven niya sa mga chicks."

"Anong chicks? Uso pa ba yang term na yan? Saka wala akong ganu'n, ano. Anyway, if you're not free, sa Atlas nalang magbibihis si Hani. We'll take the dress."

"Ano bang meron? Sorry, di ko mapigilan ang curiosity ko." Ani Suzy.

"May pupuntahan lang po na party." Sagot ko.

"Ahh... I see." Suzy replied before leaving to prepare the dress.

Noong nakaalis na siya ay hinarap ko si Sven.
