I hurriedly opened the link Noreen sent me. It led me to the livestream and boy was I surprised to see where Serenity was filming from. She... is in a hospital. Base sa layout at disenyo nito, mukhang nandoon pa rin siya sa parehong ospital kung saan ko siya unang nakita. It could be that Sven just moved her to another room, but not to another place outside the hospital.

Serenity held up the pregnancy test kit so the audience could see it.

"See?" She said smugly. "Negative. Hindi ako buntis. I took this thrice, actually." She held up the other two kits. "And I had a blood test. Negative talaga. Sorry nalang sa mga nag-expect na magiging ninang sila, but I am SO NOT WITH CHILD." She emphasized. She kept on rambling but since I got the point, I stopped watching.

Good for her kung hindi siya buntis. And good for Lloyd, because he can just move on with his life. Hindi nga lang ako sigurado kung iyon nga ba ang gagawin niya. The man can be really unpredictable.

I tried to call Sven, just to check up on him, but he didn't pick up. Nag-iwan nalang ako ng text message para makita niya kapag hindi na siya busy, kung ano man ang ginagawa niya sa ngayon.

Two days have passed but Pinky is still at large. Mayroon pa ring mga undercover police na naka-stake out malapit sa bahay namin in case na sumulpot rito si Pinky.

"Saan ka pupunta, Neng?" Tanong ni Mama noong nakita akong nagbibihis. Pinagdala ako ni Nix ng mga damit kahapon kaya may mga nasusuot ako.

"Sa Atlas, Ma. May pag-uusapan daw kami ni Chairman." Sagot ko.

"Siya ba ang kausap mo kanina sa telepono?" Lumapit siya sa akin at tinignan ako ng maamo. "Pasensya ka na anak, masyado ko siyang nasiraan sayo kaya hindi mo siya magawang tawaging Papa..."

What? Hilarious!

"Hindi naman iyon ang dahilan, Ma, eh. Hindi pa lang talaga ako sanay. Kakakilala ko lang sa kaniya; hindi ba pwedeng mag-adjust muna ako?"

Hindi na umimik si Mama kaya nagpatuloy na ako sa pagbibihis. Just in time, the driver arrived to fetch me. Chairman insisted that I be chaperoned, so what else can I do but be grateful?

I reached Atlas two hours later. Sobrang traffic kahit tanghaling tapat kaya natagalan ako.

I was surprised when I saw Chairman at the lobby, so I walked over to him. I felt the judgmental stares of the employees who probably thought I was being brazen.

"Bakit po kayo... nasa lobby?" Tanong ko. He could have waited somewhere else.

He just showed me the beep card, and I realized that I cannot go up to the top floor without it, nor can I use the restricted elevator. Dati, kailangan ko pang maghintay na may empleyadong sumakay para makasabay ako, o sumabay kay Noreen. Nakakamiss din pala ang magduty rito.

"Pinky was spotted getting on a bus," he said as we walked toward the exclusive elevator for employees. "They're now finding out where that bus is headed."

"Kailangan ding timbrehan yung driver at kundoktor. Kasi baka bumaba siya bigla bago pa man makarating ang bus sa destination niya." Suhestiyon ko.

"They're doing their best." He assured me as we watched the elevator doors open.

Sumunod lang ako sa kaniya nang siya'y pumasok na rito at sasara na ito ulit nang may pumindot ng button sa labas.  Bumukas ulit ang mga pinto.

"Good afternoon po, Sir." A female employee greeted the Chairman, but sneered at me when she noticed me standing too close to the old man. Right. Ang bruhang taga Marketing! "Sorry po, nagmamadali po ako kaya makikisabay na po ako ha..." Sabi pa niya.
