Its the night before chilton and me and my mom are sitting on the couch while my mom paints Rory's toe nails white. We were having a nice conversation until Lane came running into our yard.

"GUYS NEW CD
XTC - APPLE VENUS VOLUME 2!!" She yelled and then our mom chased her into the house.

It's Monday. It's chilton day. It's 7:10 and me and Rory are both ready. School starts at and it's a thirty minute drive so we have to leave in about 10 minutes. Me and Rory are completely ready when we go upstairs to get our mom only to see her still asleep.

"MOM!!" We both shout waking her up and then rushing her to get ready. She left her clothes at the dry cleaners so she didn't have na outfit to wear. Ya know what she resorted to. A pink tie dye top and cow bow shorts. me and Rory blank stared her.

"What?" She questioned annoyed

"nothing I just didn't know the rodeo was in town." Rory told her making me laugh. Then we left and drove to heartford chilton.

After a ton of convincing we got our mom to go in with us. My mom was flirty with someone's dad completely throwing off our schedule! Finally we got to the headmasters office and our grandma was there. They made her take off her coat and I could just see the embarrassment on her face.

After awkward small talk they both left so it was just me and Rory with the headmaster. He read our resume thingies and gave some advice. Then he handed our schedules to us and we left his office.

Once I was in first period a boy walked in late. It was the boy I saw at the restaurant. When he was walking past me he looked me up and down with a smirk. His name is Tristan. When he sat with his friend a few seats behind me they said something about how the new girl is a "Mary" whatever that means.

After class the teacher held me back and told me I should ask to borrow someone's notes and that it will be helpful for me to catch up. at lunch me and Rory caught up on how our day has been so far and then we had the class afterwards together and Tristan was in it. Me and Rory sat next to each other and he sat behind me.

Me and Rory came to class early so when Tristin walked in we were already seated.

"he's cute right?" I whispered to Rory carefully so he doesn't hear.

As he walked by my desk he looked at me and said "hey Mary" I looked at Rory confused. Mary?

Now it was fourth period and I was early to class again. This girl who's in my first period came up to me.

"Hey I'm Alicia you can call me Ali, We have first period together I was going to say hi but you came in not early enough and you stayed in class after." She introduced herself

"Hi I'm jayden but I go by jade." I said with a smile.

We talked for a while before the teacher started talking and we sat by each other.
I think we're gonna be good friends.

After school when our mom came to pick us up we dropped our bags and hugged her. When we were in the car she asked how school was and i asked "Mom what does it mean if someone calls you Mary?"

"Mary?" she laughed "They still say that. Wow. It means like virgin Mary." She told me

"Your kidding." I said

"Nope, they think your a goody goody, Hey if you tell them your toe nails are red they'll back off!" she still laughed.

The whole way home we talked about our days and Rory told me about this girl Paris? I don't like her one bit, she's so rude! And for no reason, Rory is the sweetest person I know and when she wrecked the project she tried offering to help and your still gonna be rude to her. ew.
