"Hey so I think me and Sukie will be out of the house by 12 tomorrow," Mom tells us while throwing random clothes into her suit case.

"Oh okay, are you gonna plan outfits at all or just throw them in?" I ask.

"Where are you going again?" Rory also asks.

"Wherever the wind takes us and no i'm just gonna wear whatever comes out of these clothes and hope it's good," She sits on the suit case and starts zipping it up. "So what crazy cool plans are you guys gonna do while I'm gone, Throw a party?"

"Nope,"

"A Rager?"

"Still no,"

"I got it, you're gonna turn our house into a strip clung aren't you?"

"No mom I'm going to lanes while you're gone," Rory lays down on the bed.

"And I'm inviting Tristan over," I add.

"Boeing, Lame, unentertaining- " Mom starts listing whatever words fly into her mind.

"Okay mom we get it!"

"I'm here!!" I hear Tristan's voice at the front door an hour or so after my mom left.

"I'm in the kitchen!" I yell back.

He walks in and gives me a kiss on the forehead before going to my to and putting his bag down.

"Is Rory home?" He asks taking a seat next to me.

"Yeah but she's leaving soon to lanes, she's gonna spend the night there," I inform him.

I hand him a cookie from the plastic box and we snack in comfortable silence until Rory comes out of her room.

"Okay kids I'm leaving, don't be bad!"

"Since when are you a mom?" I scoff.

"Since there's no mom in the house," She sasses back.

"Oh no don't worry we're really," Tristan's hand finds it's way to my thigh under the table. "Really good kids,"

His hand slides up teasingly as we say our good byes and he pulls it away when we hear the front door shut.

"So what are we gonna do?" He turns to me.

"You are such a bad kid!" I smack his arm laughing. "We are baking a cake!"

I smile widely before jumping up and grabbing the cake boxes, icing, and most importantly the heart shaped cake mold.

"Uh okay.. Why?" He tilts his head slightly before standing up and inspecting my materials.

"Uh because.. We rarely ever do anything wholesome and this will be fun! So stop complaining,"

"I'm not complaining it's just that I've never seen, or heard of you baking, cooking or even micro aging anything, ever."

"That's cause I don't, Duh. That's why you're here," I hand him one of the boxes and we start opening them.

"And here I thought you just liked my company," He lets out an exaggerated sigh.
