Solcia POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once Mr. Spalding left, everyone was quiet, and looking at me. I couldn't believe what just happened. I have magic! Do you know how happy I am!! It makes sense now. Why I've had these gut feelings, how I had good grades, my fast reflexes -all because I was bound by fate to have magic. Would I be able to tell my friends? I can trust them, absolutely. But when? Would they freak out? I could scare Gabe really bad though, and that would be fun. . .
"Sol, are you okay? Does this freak you out?" Mason asked, concern filling his voice.
"Yes, actually I am great! Do you know how awesome this is? Could you see me read fast?" I asked, a huge smile on my face. I'm surprised I could smile this big.
"Yes, it looked really cool. You like it?" Mason continued.
"Yes! I always felt like there was something different, and maybe it's just because fate was preparing me fore magic. I'm going to read books 2-49 and test some spells!" I said cheerfully. I got up and kind of skipped over there. I didn't want to read the last book because then I would already have another set of books.
It was like my mind knew what I was going to think and the purple letters started to surround me. It took me 48 seconds to read all the books. In one of the books, it mentioned that with magic, you can literally do anything and everything. You didn't even have to read the books, just think about it. It did say that practice was necessary, so now Victor has became my official test subject, he just doesn't know it yet. He will eventually find out though.
"Magic is pretty cool. You don't even need to read the books, just think about what you want to do. You can do just about everything, you just need to practice." I said, and the gigantic grin came back while I went to sit back down on the couch.
"So you could hypnotize people?!" Victor questioned excitedly.
"I haven't seen the spell for it, but you could probably do that. It might be hard though because the book says when you first get magic, you are weak at it but as you practice your magic is stronger. I think you could also control people, which might just be better than hypnotizing them. If I could levitate you, then I could probably control you." I told him.
I was about to use my magic to control Victor, but it started happening before I even thought about it. He then jumped up, started jumping around and doing ballet. He made one final jump and landed in a split. My face was already red, and if everybody else's face could change color, we might as well be called tomatoes! We were all laughing so hard, but Victor was not amused.
"Why did you do that?! I thought you said it wasn't in the spell book! THIS ISN'T FUNNY!!" Everybody just laughed more when he said that.
"It is not in the books, but like I said, you don't need to read the books, just think about it. I just wish I could have gotten that on video." I stopped talking right there. The books did mention a bit about telepathy, and the fact that you can send people some memories. If magic has access to your memories, then can it make your memories into a video? I'm pretty sure I had a smug grin, because Victor looked at me worriedly.
"What are you going to do?" He asked cautiously.
"Nothing that you need out worry about." I said, laughing a little. Victor just kept giving me a questioning look. I took out my phone to see if magic did its work already, or if I would have to directly think about using magic. I looked at my videos and saw that the one of Victor from just now was there. You got to love magic! I started playing the video, and everybody laughed when they heard Victor's squeal at the end because he was doing a split.
