Cara POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gabe went into the front seat while I went into the front.
"You look stunning Cara." Gabe said, the love and affection all clear in his eyes and his voice. He then leaned in and kissed me.
"Not to bad yourself." I said smiling at him.
"You really want to know were we are going, don't you?" Gabe said while pulling out of the driveway. He recently got his driving license.
"You are killing me here! I don't think you want to go out with a dead person!" I responded pouting. I gave him the puppy dog look.
"We are going to more than 1 place, and that's all I'm going to say." He told me. I pouted again, and he just laughed.
"You can keep trying but I won't crack. It will ruin the surprise, and I know it will be better if it's a surprise." Was all he told me.
"Fine, but don't be complaining when I have a surprise for you." I said, giving up.
"Since when do I complain about surprises?" He asked. It was true, he never complained about surprises. He was very chill.
"Gabe we all know you are perfect and don't complain about surprises so you can shut up about that." I told him jokingly.
"I'm not perfect. Besides, it's cute to see you complain." he said, poking my nose.
"Okay how about we say our perfection is a tie because otherwise we will bicker about it all night." I stated.
"Okay, you are more perfect but we can call it a tie." He said. I wasn't going to respond. If it was anybody else, I would say that of course I'm perfect but with Gabe, I wasn't as perfect because he was more perfect. Well, in reality we are both imperfectly perfect, just like everybody else.
He pulled over really quick and handed me a blind fold.
"Can you please put it on. If you see from a distance it won't be as special." Gabe pleaded.
"Fine, I'll do it. We better be close though." I said while grabbing the blind fold.
"Don't worry, we are almost there. Just 8 minutes. Thank you." Gabe responded while I put on my blind fold.
"Whatever, just keep driving please!" I responded impatiently. It was 7:00, so it could be dinner, but I don't know. I soon felt us stop at a red light.
"Okay, you can take of your blind fold!" As soon as Gabe said that, I ripped it off. I looked out as we were turning into one of my favorite restaurants, Bella Mar. I have only been there once, but it was so fancy and elegant. Also expensive. He did a good job.
"I can't believe it! Thank you so much Gabe! I love it!" I said, giving him a big bear hug.
"Hey, I said I wanted to take you to some place special." He said happily. He got out and opened the door for me. He could be such a gentleman sometimes! He took my hand in his hand and we walked inside.
"Reservation for Spangler." Gabe said. The waitess marked something in her book and lead us to a table. I thought it would be with everybody else, but she started leading us towards the back. We walked out the back doors and outside was a path lit up on the edge with candles leading up to a gazebo. Instead of sitting down, I went up to Gabe and gave him a kiss and hug. This was extraordinary. The waitress chuckled and handed us a menu. I sat down and looked at Gabe. What in the world did I do to deserve this?
"You didn't have to do all of this for me." I told him. I wasn't that special.
"On the contrary, I very much did have to do this. You are truly amazing and no matter what I did, I could never show you how amazing you are to me. I can keep trying though, and I will." He said lovingly. I needed to plan a date or something fantastic for him. It wouldn't be fair if he did all of this for him and I did nothing.
