Ch.15~ Visions

I closed my eyes and went back to sleep with no interruptions.

When I woke up, I didn't wake up like I usually do. I quickly flashed my eyes open, and saw Mason there, like he knew I was awake. I hope he didn't see me. It was a ridiculous theory, but he didn't bother me after a few seconds. Yes! That's exactly what I wanted. I now had time to think.

I had a vision yesterday. Normal people don't have vision. I could actually think and guess what was going to happen, so it was like I was peering into a crystal ball, and everything cleared when I guessed correctly. Is that why I was a good guesser? Was all of this supposed to happen? What I destined to be not human so that's why I believe fairytales are real? I started getting a headache. Sometimes I think to much for my own good. I cleared some thoughts from my head and focused again.

The vision was of my parents. The people who took my parents were also the people who killed Mackenzie's parents. The people are Gallen, Mozella, and Waylon. They had my parents captive, and they wanted me so they could squeeze information out of my parents, which meant making me look weak. I don't let anybody make me look weak. What did they mean when they asked my parents what they are? They are human. I've never gotten a feeling that they were different. They weren't killing my parents though, which I'm grateful for.

I decided I have done enough thinking and sat up. I looked around and saw Mackenzie had already gotten up.

"Nice for you to actually get up." Mason said with a chuckle.

"I wanted to think."

"I know, that's why I let you be. Was it about the nightmare yesterday night?" I wanted to tell him now, especially with the stomach feelings that were going on, but I think it would be best for the family to find out together. I looked at the clock and saw it was 8.

"No school?" Wow, school has been out for a while.

"No, they called saying that there are a bunch of leaks everywhere and the AC keeps breaking so they will call when its good for everybody to go instead of calling every morning saying we couldn't go yet." Mason said. Looks like my wish from yesterday has been granted.

"That's good. We have more time to figure everything out." I said smiling. I got up and decided to started getting ready. I got up and shooed him out.

"You can get out now. I have to get ready." Once I said that, he went out in vampire speed, closing the door behind him. I got ready and thought about what I was going to say to everybody. 'Hey guys. Guess what, I had a vision yesterday!' seemed to weird. I guess I'll just ease into it. I hope Mackenzie wasn't going to listen, because it would just be weird. I finished getting ready and headed down the stairs.

"Is everybody here?" I called out to nobody in particular.

"Yes. We are all in the family room. Mackenzie is out in the backyard playing in the park." I heard Jamel call out.

"Okay, be right there!" I called back. I went into the kitchen, grabbed an apple, and headed towards the family room.

"Did you guys find out anything?" I asked them.

"Nope. We followed her scents and found her house. The parents were sucked dry and the vampires scents were untraceable. Did you think of anything?" Jamel said. I guess I couldn't really ease into my vision.

"Well yes, but it's not really what I thought of, but rather what I saw." Jamel gave me a confused look.

"Elaborate please." Was all he said.

"Well, last night when I fell asleep, call me crazy, but I had a vision." They all stared at me like I was crazy.

"I know, it's not human like, but I had a vision. Mason, this was the 'bad dream' I was having. It started out blurry, but I could see two people in chairs, their hand tied I assume, because they were moving there arms but going no where. Then there were three people walking around them. It was like looking at a video that had a blur screen in front of it. I then spoke in my head 'I think those two people in the chairs are my parents.' The people in the chairs appeared, showing my parents. They were tied down in their chairs. I think that if I guess certain parts correctly then I can see it clearly. I then spoke in my mind 'I think those three people are the people who killed Mackenzie's parents. They then became clear. There was a guy with short brown hair, Gallen, a girl with long light brown hair, Mozella, and a guy with black hair that was long in the front and covered half his face, who was named Waylon. I asked in my head 'Are they talking about me?' and then I heard the audio." I paused and took a look at their faces. Jamel nodded, silently asking me to continue.

"I'm not going to say it verbatim, but basically they asked my parents were I was, my mom said she wouldn't say while my dad said nothing so they kicked both of them in the shins. Mozella with my mom and Waylon with my dad. Gallen then said something along the lines of 'I need her so I can force you guys to tell me what you are!' He then left, with the Mozella and Waylon following behind. That was when I woke up." I looked at them soak up the information. Jamel was the first to talk.

"So your parents aren't human?" He asked.

"Well, I guess they aren't. I've never felt anything weird about them though and always thought that they were human." I said. Jamel responded after a few more seconds.

"Well, we now know a lot more about them." We all nodded in agreement to Jamel's words.

I surprisingly finished my apple and stood up to throw it away. When I stood up, I got pulled into another vision.
