BYUNGCHAN and you were sitting on the couch, discussing your upcoming first anniversary. He suggested going out to a fancy restaurant, but you had a different idea.
"Bubs, I have something I want to suggest," you said.
"What's that?" he asked, intrigued.
"I was thinking, instead of going out to a restaurant, why don't we celebrate our anniversary closer to nature? We both love the outdoors."
You and Byungchan had been dating for almost a year now and they both loved the outdoors. He had always been fascinated with nature, spending his free time hiking and camping. He loved exploring new places and experiencing the beauty of the world around him. You were equally as passionate about the outdoors, but for a different reason. You grew up in a city and didn't have much opportunity to experience nature. That draws you towards the magic of nature.
Byungchan looked at you and smiled, "That sounds perfect!"
Your face lit up, "Really? You're okay with a picnic?"
He took her hand and said, "Of course, bubs. A picnic it is!"
You leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled, "It's going to be a special day that we'll always remember."

You and Byungchan arrived at the meadow early in the morning. The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. You started to unpack the picnic basket and set out a blanket. While Byungchan decided to take some pictures to document this special day.
"Bubs, you look beautiful," Byungchan told you, then snapping a picture.
"I can't believe it's been a year already," You replied, with a smile.
He walked around the meadow near your community, taking pictures of the flowers and the wildlife. He was fascinated by the beauty of nature and he wanted to capture it all, adding to his album dedicated just for you.
You watched as he took pictures, admiring his passion for photography. Words cannot describe how grateful you are to have him in your life and how you felt lucky to be able to celebrate your first anniversary in such a beautiful place.

After you finish eating, both of you lay back on the blanket and look up at the clouds. You pointed to one and says, "Look, bubs! It's an elephant."
Byungchan squints his eyes and then grins, "Where? I don't see it."
You giggle and move closer to Byungchan, taking his hand. "Right there," you said, pointing again. "See it now?"
He grins wider and nods, "I do. It's so cute."
He received a playful slap from you, "You're not even looking at it, bubs! Stop staring at me." You pouted as you eyed him.
"Why? Am I wrong? Right in front of me is the cutest being!"
You playfully rolled your eyes at him. "You're incorrigible," you said with a smile.
Byungchan chuckled and pulled you closer to him, kissing you on the forehead. "And you're irresistible," he said, gazing into your eyes.
You blushed at Byungchan's words and smiled, snuggling into his embrace. You lay back on the blanket, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the peace of the meadow.
As you relaxed, Byungchan speaks up, "You know, I never thought I'd find someone who loves the outdoors as much as I do. But then I met you and everything changed."
You smiled at him, remembering the day they met. "I know, it was at that hiking trail near the river, wasn't it?" you said.
He nodded, "Yes, I was taking photos of the waterfall and you were hiking. We struck up a conversation and the rest is history."
The two of you met one day while hiking in the mountains. Byungchan was on a solo trip and was admiring the view from the top of the waterfall when he saw you below. You were struggling to make it to the top and Byungchan offered to help you. Both of you ended up hiking together and chatting the whole way, discovering that you both shared a love of the outdoors. After exchanging numbers, you went on a few more hikes together before you officially started dating. You quickly realized that you had a strong connection and that you guys complemented each other in every way.
You leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. "I'm so glad we met, bubs. You're my everything," she said, smiling at him.
He smiled back at you, feeling grateful for this moment. "I feel the same way, bubs. I love you," he said, kissing her on the forehead.
"Happy anniversary, bubs," Byungchan looking into your shining orbs. "I love you more than anything in this world."
"I love you so much, bubs. Happy anniversary!" you replied, smiling.
You lay back on the blanket and continued to look at the clouds. He held you closer and kissed you as the sun shone down, feeling grateful for this special moment in the meadow and for each other. As you gazed at the sky, you both felt a deep sense of peace and happiness, enjoying the peace of the meadow, knowing that you had found your forever in each other.
