Only the young// Rickon Stark out now!!
"You did that." Aemond declared staring at what was once ruins, burned land and trees, ashes.
"From the ashes you will rise." Criston whispered.
Aemond watched as more butterflies landed on Ara, as though they knew she would protect them.
"She... the woman, the voice... she said I was..." Ara smiled as their wings fluttered against her cheek, landing in her hair. Ara hummed and she could even hear and feel their heartbeat, every flutter of their wings, she felt so connected to them. To the earth. Like she was missing something before, something she never knew was apart of her, never knew existed. She breathed in the air, the smell of the breeze through the trees, the pollen in the air, swirls of dirty danced along the wings before settling again. She felt it all and it felt amazing.

When they got back to sun spear Ara was starving. She was on her third chocolate chunk cookie breaking it apart and watching the melted chocolate ooze between it when Aemond came in.Apparently turning and transforming into a tree and unlocking the hidden part of you was hard work because after ara ate she collapsed into bed completely exhausted.
"You have one very special girl." Davina remarked. "But I suppose you all will be heading home tomorrow?"
"Yeah, Alicent-"
"Alicent is it? Not her grace? The queen but on a first name basis-" Davina declared as she poured them all another drink.
"Stop tormenting him." Tommen begged. "He fucks her, why would he call her-" Cristons face scrunched up.
"Well-" Davina cut in. "When hes on his knees in front of her he better be declaring for his majesty!"
"I'm going to bed." Criston declared embarrassed his face going red. "Thank you for everything. Not this conversation but everything else." Criston clarified as he headed off.
Aemond stayed with Ara, she curled up next to him as he pulled the blankets over her. She felt herself drifting to sleep before she was back in the woods. She was alone. The voice echoed out, she couldnt move.
"He didn't survive."
Ara couldn't breathe all over again.
"I do hope you survive this."
Ara then realized as her jaw tightened, her chest restricted, she couldnt take a breath. She felt her heart turning to bark, she felt the pinch and pull before her eye lids shut and she let the darkness sink in before her eyes popped open and she was panting for breath, a scream on her lips. Aemond turned to her hugging her to him.
"What's wrong?" Aemond questioned nervously as he held her tight. "Ara!" She took a few settling breaths as she relaxed into Aemond.
"Bad dream." Ara rasped holding tight to him.
"About... what happened?" He pondered.
"I do hope you survive this." Ara whispered. Aemond brushed her hair from her eyes. "That's what the voice said before it all went dark. I do hope you survive this."
"That's awful." Aemond rasped holding her tighter.
"Aemond... I know what I did... what we did, I know it was scary and frightening and... I didn't want to die." Ara remarked softly. "I didn't want to die." Criston had heard her little scream as she woke but hesitated at the door as he listened to them.
"I don't want you to die." Aemond agreed. "I would have died without you." Aemond remarked. "Honest, I don't want to live in a world without you."
"I love you Aemond." Ara whispered kissing his cheek. "I'm glad we came." she assured her hands resting on his legs.
"Even though you almost might have died?" Aemond rasped.
"But I didn't." Ara reminded him. "Now we have the rest of our lives to live to love to feel and be."
"Live, love," Aemond repeated touching her cheek. "Feel... be." He agreed. The way she stared back at him, he almost thought she wanted to kiss him. But he didn't want to be wrong, he didn't want her to think he didn't care about her feelings for Jace because she had made it clear she loved him. But the way she was smiling back at him he wanted to kiss her. Criston pushed the door open and it creaked though catching their attention. Aemond sighed heavily as he leaned back slightly but noticed Ara didnt pull away.
"Hi daddy." Ara whispered in the darkness.
"Hey sweetie, you alright?" Criston questioned getting closer.
"Bad dream." Ara informed him.
"You know you used to say I was the only one that could take away the bad dreams." Criston recalled.
"Aemond does a good job too." Ara remarked as Aemond hugged her.
"Can I stay anyways?" Criston countered, Davina had gotten in his head and what seemed like innocent siblings sharing a bed in a new place now became, dear Gods what are they doing alone in the dark?
Ara nodded moving over as Criston lay down on the edge of the bed. Aemond was annoyed however. Not only did Criston crash their date to dorne but now their almost kiss. But Ara lay between them and curled into Aemond falling back asleep.
