"Aegon brought me to the Street of Silk on my thirteenth name day." Aemond remarked he had a hood pulled high over his head. ''It was his duty as my brother, he said, to ensure I was as educated as he was. At least that's what I understood him to mean.''

''I don't follow.'' Criston said as they knocked again.

''He said, "Time to get it wet." Aemond clarified.

" Every woman is an image of the Mother, to be spoken of with reverence." Criston knocked again impatiently.

A whore opened the door and stared back at them a smirk on her lips.

'' Sometime last night, we... misplaced our drinking companion. Knowing that he has been, in the past, a patron of your fine establishment, we thought to inquire here as to his whereabouts."

"And describe him.''

''That is a delicate matter.' Criston said softly. ''You see, the man we seek is the young Prince Aegon. I may trust, I hope, in the discretion of your trade.'' The whore chuckled.

''The Prince is not here.''

''Has he been here? Earlier, perhaps?''

''Quite a bit earlier. Years ago, in fact.''

''But more recently?'' Criston offered hopefully.

''He does not frequent the Street of Silk. His tastes are known to be... less discriminating." She informed them.

'' Meaning what?' Criston asked confused.

''I wish you luck, good Ser. And my best to your friend.'' She locked eyes with Aemond. He stared back a moment ''How you've grown.'' Aemond turned back around following Criston feeling awkward. He was glad Ara did not come with them for this.

Ara never got along with viserys but still he was her siblings father. She brought a bouquet of flowers to put on his body to be wrapped before his burning.

She took her time creating the bouquet, there was little she could do right now

She took her time creating the bouquet, there was little she could do right now. Alicent didnt want her running the streets looking for Aegon, she barely wanted Aemond to go.

Daeron walked beside Ara, kicking at the stones as they moved back to the castle.

"I'm sorry." Daeron admitted.

"About what?" Ara countered.

"Everything. I'm a dick." Daeron declared.

"Yeah... but you are going to have to be more specific." Ara teased.

"You were the perfect daughter and I was the fuck up. " Daeron muttered.

"You are not." Ara corrected.

"It's okay I have accepected my role and I'm going to do better." Daeron assured.

"I would have been nicer when we were younger too." Ara admitted. "Hi, it's me... I'm half of a Hightower twin problem." Ara introduced as she extended her hand to him.

"Hi, half a Hightower twin problem... I'm Daeron. I'm the other half."

"Wow, nice to finally meet you... I have heard such terrible things about you. I know they are all false." Ara declared.

"Thanks Ara."

"What are sisters for." she agreed leaning into him as they got to the front gate.

"Viserys amended his wishes. It's as simple as that." Otto sat on the iron throne. ''You once swore your banners to Rhaenyra. You must now pledge them to the future king." Otto instructed the great houses of westeros.

''I must confer first with my house on this matter.''

''You'll not leave this room without declaring your intention.'' Otto corrected.

''I am no oath breaker... I will not bend the knee.'' Otto huffed out a breath.

''Anyone else?'' Otto countered.

" House Fell... keeps its sworn oath to the Princess." Lord Fell declared.

''Very well'' Otto agreed nodding to the knight, those faithful to Rhaenyra were escorted out. Everyone else fell to their knees.

''Long live the King.''

'' Long live the King.' They echoed.

''It seems you were mistaken as to Aegon's habits." Criston remarked as they walked

"He could be in the hands of mercenaries, on a ship to Yi Ti. He could be dead." Aemond offered nonchalantly.

" Let us hope, for your mother's sake, that is not the case." Criston offered kindly.

Viserys was wrapped, his face and body covered in fine cloth, his crown placed upon his stomach. Alicent wept over him, before taking a deep and steading breath.

"Mama, I got flowers." Ara remarked holding them out.

"Oh my sweet girl, they are beautiful." Alicent declared.

"Did you love him?" Ara questioned curiously.

"Not as a wife should love her husband but I did love him. I tended to him for years... I hated seeing him such pain..."

"But my father..." Ara questioned.

"Your father is a wonderful man. I love him. I love him completely." ALicent agreed. "But Viserys... he gave me Aemond and Helaena, Daeron and Aegon... Aegon damn that boy."

"I think I can find him." Ara remarked.

"You can? How?"

"I think I can. I'm not sure." Ara corrected. "But are you sure you want to do this?"

"It was Viserys dying wish." ALicent assured her. "I would not lie to you my child."

"I dont think you are." Ara assured "I just know that... well Rhaenyra wont like it."
