Ara looked at Aemond with those stunning green eyes as breathtaking as emeralds but anytime Aemond compared her eyes to gems she said forests are better then gems. He leaned forward kissing her. 

"Big day today." Ara whispered against him. 

"Yeah." Aemond agreed softly. 

"Hey, Aegon gets into fights and shit all the time maybe his reign isnt that long..." Ara offered and Aemond chuckled pulling her closer. "You can be his right hand man, teach him, mold him into a better man." Ara remarked. Aemond closed his eyes as she nuzzled into him. "What do you want to do? Get up and get ready or be sad about it?" 

"I want..." Aemond opened his eyes a smile on his face. "I want memorize every inch of your body with my mouth. I want to find every place you like to be touched, every way I can make you moan. I want bend you over the counter so I can fuck you just the way you want it."

"Very specific,  I like it." Ara agreed.

"Out of my way!" Erryk demanded. ''With me, Princess. I cannot let this treachery stand.'' He informed Rhaenys as he stole her away hiding her hair as they moved in the night.

''Where are we?' Rhaenys questioned looking around.

''Just south of King's Way. The Blackwater's this way.'' Erryk remarked.

'I won't leave Meleys." Rhaenys said confidently. "If I could get to the Dragonpit, then..."

"No. They'll expect you there, Princess. You won't get past the gates. Now come. You must make for the riverfront and find a ship. Before they know you've gone." Erryk begged.

"How much longer?" Daeron grumbled. "I feel like we have been waiting for an eternity for him." 

"It's been like two minutes." Aemond corrected. 

"A fucking eternity." Daeron agreed. "Whats taking so long? They left before us." 

"Aegon had to fix his hair." Helaena offered. 

"Are you going to crown him dad?" Ara questioned smiling back at him. 

"I am." Criston agreed. 

"Commander of the guard." Ara said proudly. "So when are you and mama-" Criston chuckled shaking his head. 

"One celebration at a time love." Criston requested. 

"Right, right, but like in the future, the near future you two can be happy. You dont have to hide... thats the plan right?" Ara questioned. 

"Thats the plan." Criston agreed. "Maybe you can help me figure out how to pop the question officially." Criston requested and Ara's hands clasped at her heart filled with giddy joy.

"Have the decency to look grateful." Alicent demanded as Aegon looked bored and drunk as they rode to his coronation. ''Do you know what has been done to give you this day? In an hour, you will be king." Alicent reminded him.

''And my father never wanted this." Aegon reminded her as he leaned back.

' That's not true.' Alicent assured.

''He had 20 years to name me heir and never did. Steadfastly, he upheld Rhaenyra's claim." Aegon hissed back.

''He changed his mind.'' Alicent told him honestly but Aegon chuckled out.

''Oh... No... He could have, but he never did because he didn't like me." Aegon reminded her. "He didnt like any of us. We couldnt compare to Rhaenyra even though he hasnt seen her for years and is a disgrace to the Targaryen name." Alicent sighed in agreement.
