Ara was tending to helaenas children she couldn't wait to be a mother she thought her sister did a wonderful job and she thought her mama was the best in the world so she figured well she hoped she really hoped that she would be wonderful too. Helaena still felt the loss of her baby, of course she did and Ara knew that her favorite thing was butterflies. So everyday Ara went to the butterfly field with Hela and her children.

It was helpful that the twins shared their mothers enthusiasm for creatures. It was even more helpful that Ara knew how to guide them into the room for instant entertainment.

Helaena smiled from the bed watched the butterfly land before her.

"Best sister ever." Helaena remarked.

"I miss her. What if we get back together and things arent the same." Jace pondered.

"Things are going to be different." Luke agreed. "But you still have us, no matter what." Jace grumbled into his book as his head flopped to the desk. "I'm offended, are you offended Joff?"

"A bit." Joffrey agreed.

"I"m sorry." Jace declared. "I just... what if I dont love her anymore? What if I do and she doesnt love me anymore?" Jace rattled off questions as he pushed his book off the desk.

"Alright, I know how to fix this." Rhaena remarked walking up to them.

"If she says that bad word in front of JOffrey," Luke warned. Jace shook his head looking to Rhaena.

"I'm going to ask you a question and you are going to answer honestly." Rhaena remarked.

"Easy enough." JAce agreed.

"What's more important, Ara or us? " Rhaena questioned.

" Ara!" Jace answered.

"Man! He didn't even think about it!" Luke declared.

"Then I guess you have your answer." Rhaena grumbled as she walked off.

"We could burn up in a fire and she'd be like, 'Well, I still have Aranyani.'' Daeron declared as he stared into the crackling fire, the storm raged on outside but the heat radiated the room.

"Um, I think if I died in a fire, she would be a little bit more upset..." Aemond corrected.

"Okay, jump in. Let's find out." Aegon agreed with a smirk.

"You idiots." Daeron corrected. "Ara is the favorite. The rest of us are an after thought."

"He's not wrong." Aegon agreed. "But I'm okay with it... why are you so moody lately?"

"I'm not." Daeron spat.

"Yeah that was convincing." Aemond agreed.

"Hi boys." Alicent coed peering in. "What are you up to?"

"Who's your favorite?" Aegon asked bluntly and Alicent smiled back at them. "Easy question."

"Is it though?" Alicent countered.

"Hey mama, I was looking for you." Ara declared a spring in her step. "I made cookies with the twins."

"Oh, Ara these are beautiful." ALicent declared. "Too pretty to eat."

"NOnsense, they are delicious." Ara assured taking a bite. Aemond and Aegon got up moving to the tray.

"Damn petal, even I'm impressed." Aegon agreed.

"Cookies fix all problems." Ara decided. "Flower cookies really fix all problems." Aemond took a bite before kissing her she leaned into him. "Daeron, you want one?" Alicent stared back at Daeron, she didnt know what was going on with him lately. He had been moody and even quicker to temper.

Daeron peered at the cookie display and picked one up, he shoved it in his mouth

Daeron peered at the cookie display and picked one up, he shoved it in his mouth.

"It's dry." He grumbled chewing it and swallowing it down.

"Sorry." Ara offered, indifferent.

"These are great." Aemond corrected taking another. Daeron reached out as he looked away acting uninterested but took another cookie. Ara stared back at him curiously.

"I'm just gonna leave these here then." Ara offered putting down the tray. "In case any one needs to criticize them further." she added. "NIght mama."

"Night my sweet girl." Alicent coed hugging her tight.

"I'm tired too." Aemond agreed forcing a yawn.

"Sure you are." Alicent agreed bringing a hand to his cheek. "Goodnight you two."

Night had fallen as the storm played on and Aemond had pulled Ara to bed under the sound of the rain. He tilted her chin up and captured her lips. His kiss stayed, connecting, as her body built and fell beneath him, the sound of his name a whisper in the dark.

Ara fell asleep against him. Felt his fingers threading through her hair. Slow and simple and it made her smile.

"I love you." She whispered as he lay his forehead against hers.

"I love you, flower."
