Christina went to a Chinese school from Preparatory to High School. Her father is pure Chinese and her mother is half Chinese and half Filipino. It's the first week of June and she is starting college tomorrow. She can't wait for school because she'll soon see her crush Carlos. Carlos is pure Chinese and they met when she was eleven years old at the church camp.
She goes to church at Davao Evangelical Church and she met Carlos there because he kept bullying her. At school people call her Chrissy and she didn't like to be called that because it's too girly for her liking. Carlos is one year her senior but he was held back in school because he didn't have good grades.
She is at the church because it's Sunday. She serves the church because Carlos served the church during high school. Carlos stopped going at their church since he attended his classmate's church at Davao Chinese Baptist Church. Chrissy was oblivious to the fact that Carlos was courting Hannah, their classmate during fourth year high school. Unknowingly, college will be the most memorable part of her life.
