Chrissy didn't expect that Sandro would be early. Her parents greeted a couple who were both middle aged and a guy in his early twenties. He looked neat but it didn't really matter what she thinks about him. Sandro wouldn't definitely allow them to be friends. She knows that even without asking him. Chrissy motioned for Sandro to come over and meet her parents. Her father and mother were both tense as Sandro stood by Chrissy's side and held her hand.
"Chrissy, you are being disrespectful. Why did you tell him about this?" Her father asked Chrissy.
"You are wrong, Mr. Lee. You are the one who is being disrespectful. You know I am Chrissy's boyfriend yet you chose to introduce her to a Chinese guy; who you think is worthy of your daughter's love. I am Sandro Vasquez. I hope your son would respect our relationship." Sandro stood proudly and introduced himself. Chrissy looked at him lovingly and was proud of him.
"I want you to stop dating my daughter and never see her again!" Her father Charles yelled at Sandro.
"Dad, we're in a public place please don't yell at him." Chrissy was close to tears and Sandro tried to make her calm.
"I can do whatever I want. I am your father and I won't approve of this relationship!" Charles yelled again and all of the people in the restaurant was staring at them.
"Chrissy, it was nice meeting you. My name is Frank Hao. I don't think we should meet again since you have a boyfriend." Frank introduced himself and Chrissy could feel Sandro's jealousy.
"We need to leave, Chrissy. Let's go. I'll take you home." Sandro put his arms on Chrissy's shoulder and her dad was getting hysterical.
"Don't leave, Chrissy. You better stay until dinner is over." Charles spoke calmly. Her mother was just shocked and couldn't get a word in.
"You can go, Christina. I'll talk to your father." her mother Frances motioned her to leave with her boyfriend.
Chrissy and Sandro left and took a taxi since Sandro couldn't legally drive alone yet. She was proud of Sandro and what he had done earlier.
"I am proud of you and I love you even more. I didn't think it was possible that you could go against my father." Chrissy kissed Sandro's cheek and squeezed his hand.
"I'll do anything for you. You know that." Sandro replied.
