First Date

It was finally summer, Chrissy was reluctant to continue her major. She didn't hesitate to text Sandro of her dilemma. She wanted to try HRM at Philippine Women's College. She begun dating Sandro. He is courting her and they meet every Saturday. She thought that when they get to know each other better it would be ok for them to be in a relationship.

I want to change schools and try to study HRM at PWC.

Her phone vibrated after a few minutes. She knows it's Sandro's text.

Just continue your studies at ADDU and don't change majors.

It was subtle but she knew that Sandro was controlling. She didn't mind since she grew up with controlling parents. It started with minor details and slowly she noticed that even her group mates on her case study he'd get jealous. He was jealous of Jake and she thinks it was crazy. Jake isn't interested in her because he has a steady gf.

Chrissy and Sandro planned to meet at Gaisano mall today. She was getting ready for their date and she is wearing skinny jeans, t-shirt and havainas slippers. She applied Maybelline face powder and IN2it lipstick. She was looking at her reflection on the mirror and combed her hair. She took her phone and texted Sandro.

I'm on my way to the mall. I miss you.

I'm on my way there too.

EJ warned Chrissy that Sandro was a little bit intimidating because of his behavior. Sandro's family was prominent in Davao city. They had a lot of businesses and Chrissy just didn't listen to her brother. She continued to date Sandro because she was attracted to him and she really likes him.

Chrissy arrived at the mall riding a jeep, it was a thirty minute ride so she had to leave early. Her phone vibrated.

You're late.

Yeah, the driver had to pick up a lot passengers on the way. I was commuting. I'll be there in five minutes. I have to go to the rest room. I'll be quick.

Chrissy went to the rest room and she was urinating. She was always peeing since she drinks a lot of water. She looks at the mirror then reapplied face powder since her face is oily. She hurried to go to the National Bookstore since that was their meeting place.

She was nervous it was their first date and she didn't know what to do during dates. It was her first date. She saw Sandro by the cards beside the gift wrapping section.

"You're late."

"I know. I'm sorry."

"Where do you want to eat snacks?"

"I want to eat at KFC."

"Let's go there."

They went to KFC and she wants to order snackbox hotshot since it was only ₱50.00. She was on budget since her allowance at school daily was only ₱150.00.

"I can get you overloaded meal. It will be my treat." Sandro offered to pay for her meal.

"I want you to save your money since you're also a student like me. I can buy my own meals when we date."

Chrissy knew that Sandro was part Japanese and Spanish because his cousin was her classmate. His cousin's name is Hannah Vasquez. She was popular at school and a lot of people knew her. She a had of group of friends who were all girls and they were also popular at school too.

The person at the cashier was a guy so Sandro was the one who took the order. It was subtle but she knew he was jealous of the service crew at a fast food. It was ridiculous but she didn't mind at all.

"I'll order one snack box hotshots ala carte." Sandro told the service crew.

"No more additional orders, sir?"

"That's all. Thank you."

The service crew gave Sandro a number and we sat just beside the entrance. We were talking and were getting to know each other better. The service arrived with the order.

"I'm just going to get some water. I'll get you one too." Chrissy stood up and got some glasses and filled it with water. She gave Sandro the glass and begun eating her food.

They were talking about a common friend Bryan who also likes music. They were both interested in music. Sandro knows how to play drums and she plays the piano. After talking for an hour. They decided to go home. She kissed Sandro's right cheek.
