Chrissy's psychiatrist Doctor Ken told her that every time she has her period, she would have mood swings and he explained it to Sandro. Sandro accompanied Chrissy to the clinic once and he was starting to understand her more. It was her second month taking the antipsychotics and it was making feel groggy by 8pm.
Having period would be like being in a manic phase, the brain activity would be similar to having a manic episode. No matter how Chrissy tries to change every month she keeps on arguing with Sandro over petty things and break up with him. After a few days she would get back with him and apologize for her behavior. She googled it and it has a term called bipolar breakup.
"I keep on breaking up with you every time I have a period. I googled it and it's called bipolar breakup. I can't change myself and it's hard being with me. You know how much I love you." Chrissy's voice was hoarse from all the crying.
"I know having this mental illness is hard but you know I'll always be there for you." Sandro hugged Chrissy.
"I hope you won't get tired of my mood swings." She kissed Sandro's cheek.
