My Chinese Girlfriend

Practice

It was 2pm and Chrissy's classmates already arrived. They chatted for a little while and decided to practice. Chrissy's dance partner was Jake, she chose because she was comfortable with him. She knew him since she was eleven years old but only as Carlos' classmate and he was aware of their daily arguments at school.

"Chrissy, you need to move to the left." Jake instructed Chrissy on how to dance pandanggo sa ilaw since they'll have a test next week.

"I know that. It was just an honest mistake. We can eat snacks after this. " Chrissy chastised Jake on correcting her.

Chrissy and her classmates are the snacks. Her classmates who went to her house were Chantal, Anna, David, Jake and Greg.

After two hours of dancing and they were done with practice. Chrissy was familiar with the steps but she still glances at her groupmates in case she makes a mistake. 

"Guys, let's hope that we get a perfect score and practice if you have time at home." Chantal encouraged her classamates because PE is the only subject they can have a chance to get a high final grade.

It was the first time for her family to meet Jake and she has mentioned Jake a lot during her senior year in high school since they were seat mates. Jake would sometimes teach her math and she was grateful that Jake was there in case she couldn't understand the lessons.

Hi, Sandro. I'm done with dance practice. Just chat me when you're free.

Chrissy's phone rang and vibrated. She knew it was a text from Alessandro since she just texted him.

Hey, I'm not busy. I'm just helping out in my family's business. You should also help out in your business as well.

Chrissy never really thought about helping out in their family business since her dad doesn't tell her to. She actually thinks that Alessandro is a good influence. Meeting him has definitely made an impact on her life.

Yeah, I'll try helping out next week if I have time.

That's good.

Chrissy practiced in her room since she is forgetful. Watching her classmates dance in front of her helps her since she can copy them easily. She blames her appendix surgery. After her surgery she noticed that she has become a forgetful person even though she wasn't like that before. The strange thing is everything she knows about Alessandro she remembers them. She remembers his birthday, hobbies and some of his text messages. She knows that her dad would disapprove if ever Sandro and her have a relationship. She knows it would make her happy and sad at the same time.
