This takes place during the time period Adriel and her siblings were teenagers in school...
The day had started out so normal, so how the hell was it going so bad right now?!
It all started out like usual, Adriel woke up first, getting Benny up and ready as well before their father came down and yelled at anyone who wasn't also already up to "Wake the hell up and get the hell to school you worthless maggots!" After the yelling the ones who were usually ready next were the twins Winare and Selene, with Lightning and Maejor following soon after. After that, they buddied up the same way they woke up for the walk, or if they were lucky, drive to school, where they all had multiple homework assignments, and a pop quiz in each class at a random day of the week.
This is where the trouble began, as Maejor and Benny had to take a pop quiz on magicology, the study of magic as well as their first class of the day. Maejor received the results of his quiz and groaned along with most of the class with a below average grade of 64, when he glanced over to Benny to see he got a grade of 82 on the quiz itself, but because Benny had a habit of doodling on his papers and the strictness of the teacher, that grade was dropped to a 37 with a nasty little comment written on the paper. Yet, Benny seemed completely content. This begged the question, what would make Benny mad?
First thing Maejor tried in order to anger his brother was insult him and his skills. Anything from "That drawing sucks." to "Your magic is so weak it's pathetic." Nothing he tried worked, and then Adriel caught on and harshly pulled Maejor's horns whilst lecturing him. Next thing he tried was simple inconveniences like purposefully spilling water on Benny, to tripping him in a busy hall. Nothing seemed to get under Benny's skin or falter his seemingly permanent grin, which he now realizes is a feature he's had since birth and therefore something that can't actually be changed.
The third, and final attempt was to damage the thing Benny held dearest... His garden, the thing Benny had single handedly built up and grew from the ground up. When they got home, and when Adriel had gone to do homework whilst their father was busy, that was when he'd strike... The time came, slowly but it did. Benny immediately was dragged off by Adriel to study, so Maejor had to wait until they were done. Then their father yelled at Benny for his pop quiz score which took longer, but eventually the time came. Benny was working in his garden, happy as could be, when Maejor struck. Maejor strolled on in and used his magic to set the garden ablaze in front of his brother. He wasn't worried, after all, even if Maejor wasn't the strongest Benny was always weaker. Maybe because of the circumstances of his birth, maybe because his magic and overall strength was overall very underdeveloped, Maejor didn't care. He watched his brother's expression turn dark, and twisted, and disgusting while he felt his own turn from a calm smile to a horrified frown. It was then he realized, Benny was never by any means the weakest, his magic was just suppressed, and Maejor burning his garden set that magic free.
Maejor ran into the mansion, alerting Lightning and Selene of the situation, as a twisted Benny slowly followed, dragging his hand behind him while anything he touched quickly decayed into dust. Selene ran to get Adriel, Lightning tried to fight off Benny. It would be a lie to say that Lightning was weak by any means, he did get some good attacks in to slow Benny down even more, but as soon as Benny grabbed his brother's arm the decay started to set in, and it was quickly crumbling. Until something, or I should say SOMEONE stepped in and separated the brothers. Adriel stood before Benny, ready to either calm down her little brother, or at the very least incapacitate him until their father returned. First Benny reacted and tried to bash Adriel, or grab and rot her body. However, Adriel dodged every attack, and hit a number of pressure points cutting off his feeling in his arms. This fight continued until Benny fully grabbed Adriel's arm, only for nothing to happen. Benny looked at his sister, then at his hands, then at his brother as tears spilled from his eyes. ".....hurts....." Was all he could muster, as his body collapsed from the stress of so much power flowing through in such little time. Adriel made sure to wrap her brother's hands in plastic and set him up on the couch, before helping Lightning and scolding Maejor viciously.
By the time their father returned home, two things had become incredibly clear. First, the power dynamic was clearly off in which Benny was initially the weakest of them, he proved very quickly to be the second strongest in raw power alone next to Adriel. The second thing, Benny was incredibly scary when mad.
