It was morning, late morning but morning, nonetheless.

Rose woke up with a groan as the daylight's rays shown down into her eyes. With a grumble, she got up, stretched (feeling multiple cracks in her back), and dragged herself off to the bathroom. Rose hated the feeling of drowsiness, so she made the bright decision to splash ice-cold water onto her face to wake up quicker. It worked, albeit with the side-effect of soaking the front and sleeve of her pajamas in cold water, leaving an unpleasant feeling of water sticking to her skin. With a sigh, she made a mental note of the bad idea before reaching for her ADHD medication, only pausing to glance at the mirror. A full head of Blue hair greeted her as she undid the lid and.... Wait....

She looked back at the mirror in a flash, dropping her medicine in the process as she nearly ripped the mirror off the wall to get a close look. Yep, that was fully blue hair on her head. Her hair had for the longest time, been black with bits of bright blue peeking out, and recently her hair had been getting strange streaks of light blue everywhere, but her entire head of hair. Turned a dark blue. OVERNIGHT?!?!?! She pinched herself. Nothing. Rubbed her eyes. Nothing. Slapped the shit out of herself. Yep, she was definitely awake. "All right! That's it! I'm going to the doctor!" She shouted out, noting the distant yelling for her to NOT shout inside. 'Probably Ma' she thought as she went to make a phone call. She dialed the number, waiting for it to ring. The sound felt wildly loud in the empty room. She cleaned up her mess of spilled pills from earlier, noting that she'd have to get a refill from the pharmacy soon. Finally, the call was answered. "Hello, I'd like to make an appointment for potentially today, please.... Yeah 3 works...... Yes. U-huh. Okay, I'll see you then." She ended the call and went to finally change out of her wet clothes.

"Soooo, why'd ya drag me along for this Rosie?" Penny inquired as she walked alongside her friend, who seemed uncharacteristically quiet and concerned. "I uhh.... The person I'm seeing for the whole... Hair situation. They're known for being a bit... Eccentric, I think is the word? Felt like I might need backup if something went wrong." Rose scratched the back of her head, trying to maintain her pace. Penny nodded, seemingly understanding the meaning behind her words. They continued walking, into a warehouse, with seeming nothing and no one in sight. "That's weird... Didn't you say this person would be here?" Penny asked, examining their surroundings. "Maybe she's late. Let's just... Wait here for a little bit." Rose said, slumping down into a seated position. It wasn't long before she felt someone lean on her head. "Am I that much of a cushion that you feel the need to lean on me, Penny?"  "Rose I'm not leaning on you, I'm right over here." Penny waved to Rose from where she was standing. Rose went stiff. Slowly looking up... "Chillax lil pup, I'm getting a sample for analysis!" Isadoll giggled, having plucked a few hairs already without Rose noticing. Due to the shock and sudden adrenaline spike of 'HOLY HELL THERE'S A DOLL ON MY HEAD' Rose did not, in fact, relax and instead punched at where the doll was. Isadoll dodged, of course, laughing as she heard Rose tumble from the awkward punching angle.

Rose stumbled onto her back, hitting her head on the way down onto the concrete floor of the warehouse. She looked to the side as she heard the doll laughing. "Silly wolf. Calm down, you called me ya know!" Isadoll stated in a matter-of-fact tone. She walked over to Rose, sitting down and pulling a needle and vial out. "I'll need a blood sample by the way, gotta figure out all possibilities as to the problem. The permenantly stitched mouth unnerved Rose a bit, must've done the same so Penny because the bunny was quick to butt in before Rose could form a response. "How can we know you aren't lying? Hell, do you even know what you're doing?"

Isadoll giggled, tilting her head to the side. "Relax, I might be blind but I know what I'm doing. Just relax and sit back!" Her smile seemed to somehow widen as she pierced Rose's arm with the needle, noting as Rose yelped an 'Ouch!', counting seconds as the vial filled with blood. She took the needle out. Rose and Penny watched close as Isadoll took out a very chunky tablet of sorts, with braille keys poking out and what looked to be a receipt printer at the top, with the back being very thick and big. Both girls thought it a miracle the doll could even hold the damn thing. Isadoll opened a slot on the side, and dumped the vial of blood in before closing. She repeated the process with the hair strands and typed something into the tablet with the braille keys.

After what felt like an eternity of just sitting there, there was a ding, and the printer-looking piece seemed to print something out. Isadoll took the paper and felt alont the indented bumps before turning to face where the girls sat. "Good news! It's nothing too bad, just disproportionate corruption levels in your body being filtered out, you'll be good in a week or so!" Rose sat blank-faced for a moment. "Whozitwhatsit now?" She blurted out after a moment. Isadoll sighed. "Basically, your body is born with a predetermined ratio of corruption and harmony latching onto your body and soul! No one necessarily has the same ratio, and it can't be assumed to be a certain way based off of glances alone but certain species tend to have different ratios proportionate to their body and soul. You, for whatever reason, don't! And I suspect haven't for a long time. But recently your body has actually been able to make progress correcting that imbalance leading to the changes in your appearance." Rose blinked. "Why is this happening now?" She asked after a moment of processing, feeling Penny give her hand a comforting squeeze. Isadoll thought for a moment before finally, "I can only assume something was feeding this imbalance and vanished. Can you think of any changes you may have made? Diet, hobbies, people you're around?" Rose thought for a moment....

"I mean, my mom disappeared a while ago."
