Dolline: Hey, M, why is your face sometimes all scarred up but other times looks fine? And why do you still wear the mask either way?

M:... You do know what a prosthetic cheek is, right?

Dolline: Well, yeah, but-

M: And you are ALSO aware of false eyes, correct?

Dolline: Okay yeah, but that wouldn't cover up the scarring and it'd still look different!

M: *wiggles the fingers of her hands* Magic, Dolline. I use magic to cover up the scarring. Unlike you, I'd rather not draw attention to myself if I can help it.

Dolline: Well why do you wear the mask anyway if you have all that?!

M: Sometimes I feel lazy and don't want to go about worrying about if I forgot my false eye, or if my magic is covering everything, or anything like that. I can have lazy days just like everyone else.

Dolline:... Well now I feel silly-

M: Do you now?

Skylar: Hey, how do you guys handle a big fight or argument with your partners?

Toxine: Oh, well I don't handle conflict very well all at once, so if there is an argument or anything I prefer doing it over text or writing so there's less pressure to formulate an appropriate response right away and I can think over what I want to communicate properly without the noise and high-tension stuff.

O: Talk about it over something that can help distract from any tension, things like Rubick's cubes or puzzles and stuff I can do with my hands. Helps me keep calm in the face of high emotions. Sometimes ask for more clarification so I can understand the perspective of things from my partner's point of view. I'm an asshole, but not enough of an asshole to ignore my partner's thoughts feelings and perspectives on stuff, ya know?

Toxine: What about you, Skylar?

Skylar:.... I was never taught how to properly handle issues like this, my partner and I have just been arguing over text for months. Honestly surprised it hasn't gotten physical in any way, shape, or form yet.

O: Huh? Why is that?

Skylar: Parents died when I was 10, and I wasn't a very argumentative kid, so I didn't have many learning moments from them on the subject of conflict. Abuela's mind had deteriorated too far by the time I WAS getting into serious fights to help out. And my 'boss' didn't care about me so long as I followed orders soooo yeah, didn't get the opportunity to learn how to deal with that stuff.

Toxine: Well what if we helped out? Maybe give us a list of things that caused the arguing?

Skylar: *makes eye contact with camera* Oh he KNOWS what he did...

Siren: Hey Leaf, I know you don't typically talk about this stuff but did you ever explore your identity as a kid? Before we met, that is.
