Deep in the realms, buried long ago lies the ruins of a temple.
Once grand and magnificent, this temple honored the god of this world.
The god created the land with the tips of their fingers, sculpting and shaping it until it reached their perfection.
They were worshipped for a time, before they disappeared from mortal view, never to be seen again.
It is said that-
UUUGH, Bear stop with the storytelling. We came for a meeting, not a lecture!
Bear Eye looked to his compatriot, a harsh scowl gracing his features as he stood strong and mighty above his difficult brothers who were seated below. He sighed; irritation clear in his voice as he joined the others below and took his seat at the head of the table. He looked to his left, Wolf Eye slouching casually in his seat. He looks to his right, Cat Eye leaned back and playing with the vermin once again.
"Must you bring that child with you everywhere?" He spoke, narrowing his eye at Cat Eye in silent disgust at the creature his elder brother seems to think so highly of. Cat Eye chuckles, clearly not taking Bear Eye serious in any regard as he plays with the child he brought. "Of course I do! Otherwise, this would just be so much more BORING. At least the little one makes for good company! ~" The cat-like eldritch chuckles, enjoying the small baby sat on the tip of his claw, laughing away as he slowly moves her about. Bear Eye rolls his eye, sighing as he glances at his younger brother. "I assume you plan to slouch the whole meeting and provide minimal help or input?" Wolf Eye chuckles, looking at Bear Eye casually as he leans back in his seat. "You got it~" The wolf-like eldritch comments, taking joy in his elder brother's discontent.
Bear Eye sighs, looking unamused. He huffs as he sits straight in his own seat. "Very well. Let the meeting begin." He says, looking between his brothers. "As discussed last time, we all have suitable vessels for now. I do ask though, how are they holding up for you?" The Wolf hums in contemplation, as Cat Eye chuckles. "My vessel's doing just fine!~ A clever one, they are. Made a whole list of terms and all, but that makes the bond better since they seem content with our arrangement." Cat Eye looks proud of this, Bear Eye rolling his eye. "Yes, yes. We are well aware of the loose leash you have. Mine is fine. She didn't fight back much, and I have a mutual understanding with her as our interests overlap... How goes yours, Wolf?" Wolf Eye hums, shrugging casually. "Same as always. Asleep. Hasn't woken up since I took over." Wolf Eye seems focused on the baby Cat Eye brought with him, offering her a claw and watching as she grabs onto it and giggles. Bear Eye cringes in disgust.
"Alright, that's good. Any signs of the Bat?" The other two blink, looking to their brother and shaking their heads. "Nope." "Not even a squeak." They get back to playing with the small mortal girl as Bear Eye groans in discontent, watching the baby enjoy the playtime with the two eldritch beings of chaos. He sighs, rubbing his eye tiredly. "Have either of you made ANY progress with your missions? Anything at all?" Cat Eye groans, looking over at Bear Eye. "We've been progressing well. I already figured out a few candidates for my division, Wolf's got his eye set out on some of his own. Can we please just chill out and play with the little Bean?" Bear Eye grunts in discontent, staring at the child with disgust.
"Why do you even bother with such a thing?" He growls out, repulsed by the mortal before him. Cat Eye rolls his eye as Wolf Eye growls at him. "Three reasons. First off, she's adorable and I love her. Secondly, I'm getting back at an annoying clown. Third of all, I want her to be in my court when she grows. So, you may wish to get used to her~" Bear Eye scoffs, looking repulsed. "Very well.... Have either of you located The Keeper?" He asks, not expecting anything. Surprisingly, Wolf Eye grunts, speaking up. "She's safe.... No need to worry about a replacement, she's found herself a safe environment to reside..." Bear Eye raises a brow, looking a bit surprised as he turns to his younger brother. "She's 'safe'? Not 'She's back in the realm from whence she came'?" Wolf Eye growls, spitting out his next words as though they were venom. "Yes. We're not. Moving her. Period." Bear Eye sighs, nodding. "Very well... Any other important news as of late?" Bear Eye asks, looking at the other two. They both shrug and/or shake their head, focusing back on their new favorite mortal. Bear Eye sighs, getting up and walking away, leaving the room. "Dismissed, if that's the case."
A meeting it was.... Though, an irritatingly pointless one it seems.....
