Valentine's special! Enjoy!

The first meeting was combative. A Demon battling a Slayer. There wasn't a particular reason, really, merely the perceived natural response to the encounter.

Ivory eyes locked with azure, strength and speed mixing into a barbaric dance of sorts as blood spilled from each.

Yet in this battle, the fury and rage blended into the truest of taboo concoctions, Passion.

The heat of battle shifting into the heat of what some may call 'love at first sight', or in simpler terms: Infatuation.

Mutual desire so true killed the bloodlust, and left in its place were no longer enemies in combat, but just two infatuated teenagers too socially deprived to know where to go next. Faced with such stupor, both agreed to meet again. And so, they parted.

The second meeting was playful. Neither expected the other to arrive. The demon showed first, gown of red blending into the bloody skies of hell where she waited. The slayer arrived last, a clean uniform with not a single scratch despite their previous encounter.

The demoness notices his clothing choice, feigning casualness in teasing his attire. The Slayer tries playing along, laughing her off before commenting on her dress. It's nice, he notes, cheeks tinting a touch pink.

She appreciates the compliment, unable to keep from teasing the tint in his hue. He blushes further, shaking his head and beginning to taunt her (playfully, of course.) She cackles, taunting him back. They spent the rest of their time talking, laughing, joking, and more, as they opened up bit by bit.

Eventually the laughs died down, and the two inched closer, trading stories of their lives, their dreams, their desires, and the expectations thrust upon them by others. They empathize, unsure what else to say after such intense talks, eventually just squeezing their hands together in an attempt of mutual comfort. They agree to see each other again.

The third meeting was soft. Both met up, attempting to disguise themselves and blend into the foreign realm they met in. Neither knows why they agreed to meet here, but they agree the shadows offer cover where flames and bushes cannot. The two creep deeper into the darkness, talking softly with one another as they attempt to hide.

They stumble into the solitary silence of blackened forests, taking the isolation as security. They begin talking once more, giggles and flirtations echoing between them as they converse. Such comforts they take pleasure in as they enjoy their company.

Though not as long as other visits, they enjoy their time in the comfortable warmth they bring one another, before sharing the smallest of kisses. They agree to meet again.

The fourth meeting was bold. Two souls rushing to each other in their own panics. Two threats of separation, two people set to wed. The pair clutch one another, not wanting this to end.

The slayer offers a plan, one where both will be free, a coup to run away and finally be free. The demoness hesitates, not one to abandon a challenge, but agrees anyway with what would very well happen.

The two make their plans, to meet one final time, before leaving their homes forever and hiding for all time.

The fifth meeting was rushed, both slayer and demon running hand-in-hand, the sounds of angry yells and the beating of wings unmistakable behind them.

The run as best they can, jumping through a portal at last. hearts drumming in their ears as silence overtakes them. The demoness sits up, laughing in relief, the moon shining down on her as she turns to him happily. The Slayer sits up as well, eyes wide and smile sheepish, one final kiss between them, as they declare themselves Adriel and Adrian; the rulers of their little safe-haven.
