Twenty Four

The rest of the stay in Paris was work and meetings for Jungkook. Though he had decided to keep this trip work free for Nancy, he's working now. Because Nancy left for Scotland the same evening Jungkook was sitting in a park with a stranger.

She had met some of her work friends in the concert and they were all headed to other parts of Europe for seven more concerts of famous singers and it was a great opportunity for Nancy to meet new people who can benefit her social media business. So, she had called him and told him about the plan with a lot of guilt for leaving Jungkook in the middle of the vacation.

Jungkook assured Nancy that he doesn't mind and she can continue with her plan. She was super happy and Jungkook decided that he was actually content with being alone with his mixed feelings and emotions at this moment.

For the last three days, Jungkook has been busy with his meetings and works and its actually a good distraction from everything. He had no time to spare to his stupid heart.

Today is the last day of his stay in Paris. He'll leave immediately after the fashion show in the evening.

He was already on his way to the venue and the event will last around three hours so Jungkook wants to be done with it and leave Paris as soon as possible.

When he reached the venue, he noticed that there was a collaboration between Chanel and the top models of many countries from Asia to show the diversity of the continent.

He didn't know about this project beforehand because it was not on his list of this Paris visit but since he had spare time, he decided to come when his old friend from Chanel invited him.

There was a seat for him in the first row and he noticed that the show was about to start.

He sat there and looked at the models walking down the aisle for about two hours and when the name of the showstopper was announced, Jungkook was surprised. It was Cha Eunwoo and he was good. The aura when he was walking was extremely appealing and Jungkook knows why he is famous in the fashion world. His face was stoic with professionalism and he was glowing in the new collection of Chanel.

His face looked as handsome as a man can get. Perfect features and a perfect posture while walking the ramp. And when Eunwoo was in the front, his eyes went somewhere in the crowd and his professional face converted into an affectionate smile and Jungkook followed his gaze to find who it was intended for.

There he was, sitting in the second row clapping his hands and smiling back proudly at his boyfriend and Jungkook's heart was beating like crazy for not very good reason.

It was beating because of anger and guilt and pain. It was beating to break.

Jimin looked like he was proudly in love. He was in love with his model boyfriend and very happy in his life, and no matter what Jungkook thinks of him, no matter how much he is in love with him, he has no right to destroy not one, but two relationships because of it.

Why did I not meet you six years ago, Jimin? Jungkook sniffs, holding his tears at the rim of his eyes and turning his attention away from the man he has fallen in love with. The man who can never be his.

"Mr. Jeon." Someone from the crowd greets Jungkook with a smile and Jungkook clears his throat in an attempt to hide his emotions.

"Mr. Richard. Its been a long time." Jungkook says shaking his hand with the man who was in his early forties.

"Yes. It has been really long. How is work?" The man asked and Jungkook then talks to him for almost ten minutes before excusing himself to leave for airport when he hears his name once again.
