(3rd Person's POV)

"Are you sure that you'll be alright, Seungwon-ah? If you want to, you can live here in the States with me."

"As much as I'd like to, there's no way I can just leave my parents' company, Hyeri Noona," Jang Seungwon, a nineteen-year-old high school freshman student, replied while talking via phone. "And besides, Uncle Jinhyuk's posing as my guardian here, so I'll be fine."

"Which is the main reason why I'm worried right now. What if you happen to acquire his womanizing behavior?" the woman replied. "And why do you call Kwon Jinhyuk 'Uncle'? Americanized much?"

"He said that Uncle sounds cooler than Ahjussi," Seungwon replied while laughing. "Kinda makes him feel like a famous rapper or something."

"Nae. Just like 'Uncle Gordon'. Really cool," she answered with much sarcasm. "Anyway, are you preparing for school right now?" she asked.

"Nae, Noona. Actually, I'm on my way to school, so I'm walking towards the bus stop," he replied. "I'm commuting, you see."

"Ahahaha. I miss those good old days when I was still a student myself," she replied. "Anyway, take care."

"I know, Noona. I know," he replied while smiling.

(Seungwon's POV)

"Oy, Seungwon-ah! Are you talking to Goddess Elaiza again?" Lee Haneul, my classmate and bus buddy, asked.

"What the heck. Who's Goddess Elaiza?" I asked.

"Your twenty-five-year-old aunt, silly," he replied. "By the way, it seems like we will have new transferees in our school. That's what Jun Hyung told me," he added.

"Transferees at this time of the year? Seriously?" I asked.

"Yes. Apparently, they're idols, so...everyone's ecstatic, including me," he answered.

"Idols? Looks like we're gonna have stalkers lurking outside the school premises from now on. What a hassle," I commented while shrugging my shoulders.

"As if the number one sleeper in our school cares about such things," he replied while chuckling.

"Yeah, right," I replied.

(Fifteen minutes later...)

"Hey, Haneul-ah. Don't you know that one of the transferees is going to attend our class from now on?" one of our classmates asked while I silently went to my seat near the window.

"Eh?! Lucky!" Haneul replied, smirking. "Did you hear that, Seungwon-ah?" he asked excitedly.

"As if I give a damn about that," I replied coldly, staring out the window.

"You sure are one cold man," Haneul commented as they all went to their seats since the teacher arrived.

"We have a transferee, and she will be attending our class starting today," our teacher said. "You may come in now."

"Ahnyeonghaseyo! I'm Kang Haerin, and I'll be your classmate from now on. Let's all get along together," I heard the girl say.

I used the word 'heard' because I was busy staring at the sky through the window.

"Yah, Jang Seungwon! Why are you always inattentive during our class?! You have a new classmate today, and yet, you behave the wrong way?" the teacher said, glaring at me right after I yawned. "Stand outside the corridor while raising your hands. I'm sure that will keep you awake."

"Nae," I lazily replied before doing my teacher's order.

(Lunchtime)

"You sure pissed your teacher off this time, Young Master," Logos, an artifact resembling a robotic frog, commented while I ate my packed lunch on the school rooftop.
