(Seungwon's POV)

"Looks like you're pretty much downcast, Young Master. Is it because you got into a fight with Haerin Gongjunim?" Logos asked.

"I didn't do anything. She just slapped me out of nowhere," I replied. "I asked Hanni and Danielle about it, but they're not talking to me, either," I added.

"They might just be experiencing their moody days," Logos commented. "You know, that time of the month."

"Silly frog. How did you know such things?" I asked while letting out a chuckle.

"You can watch dramas and movies sometimes," Logos suggested.

"Hahahaha. Anyway, let's get to work. After all, we have a terrorist base to destroy," I replied before transforming.

(A few minutes later...)

"Who the hell are you---" the terrorist watching over the gate asked when I punched him in the face, putting him to sleep before binding him.

"Looks like we just found ourselves a dungeon, Young Master. Color me impressed," Logos said after we confirmed that the mysterious warehouse we infiltrated was a dungeon instead.

"This dungeon might be big, but it's still young," I commented. "There are just small fries here, but I'm really pissed right now, so I gotta move my body as well," I added.

In an instant, a horde of goblins and wargs started attacking me from all sides because I was currently in an open space.

"Playing dirty, huh? We'll see," I commented before initializing Tornado Blade, turning everyone around me into mincemeat before vanishing in thin air.

Their soul fragments remained after that, so I absorbed them, assembled them, and obtained their skills.

Whenever I defeat a monster, their 'soul' or a fragment of it remains depending on their strength, which becomes a new skill that I could use after absorbing it. I can level up the skill by continuously absorbing the same soul as well.

As I advanced towards the dungeon core, more and more ferocious and stronger monsters initiated coordinated attacks to hold me in place. Fortunately, I was familiar with their strategies, so I managed to always foil their plans.

"So this is the dungeon core, eh?" I commented, approaching the stone-like structure right after killing the dungeon boss and extracting its soul.

"Yes. Just touch it, and it will be destroyed instantly," Logos answered.

"I know," I said.

However, as I was about to touch the dungeon core, it began emitting heat, so hot that it actually began melting everything around it in a literal way.

"This is bad, Young Master," Logos reported. "Looks like the core's magic sequence is modified in a way that it will destroy everything in an explosion. We need to get out of here fast!" Logos added.

"Unfortunately, the entrances are closed just now," I answered. "Brace yourself, Logos. With a core that big, I'm pretty sure we won't walk away unscathed after this," I added.

"I'm looking forward to it, then," Logos commented.

"Same here," I added, smirking before the vast explosion began.

(An hour later...)

"Sometimes, getting caught in a booby trap feels amazing," Logos commented, chuckling while I was staggering towards a remote location after the explosion. "Fortunately, you managed to minimize the damage from the explosion. Otherwise, you might have been blown to smithereens right now."
