I was standing in front of the mirror. My dark brown hair was curled and the black dress fitted me perfectly. I was wearing smoky eye makeup and my lips were dark red. Wow - I actually looked good! But still, my hands were sweating and it felt like my legs would give in any second now. I was on my way out on a date with Niall, but Niall had gotten the "great" idea to invite Harry. And as if that wasn't enough he had fixed Harry up with one of his friends. A double date with the boy I loved and the boy whom I was so attracted to. This could only end one way and that was badly.

A while later Niall picked me up in his Range Rover. He had just a T-shirt and jeans on but even in that he looked amazing. His blonde hair was shaggy as usual. I let my hand run through it while I kissed him. My fingers played with the hair in his neck and I dragged him closer to me. I would much rather stay home and do that all night but I knew Niall had looked forward to this night.

When we arrived at the restaurant, Harry was already there and so was that girl. I studied her carefully. Shit, she was  really beautiful, just the kind of girl I could imagine Harry falling for! Her long, blonde hair fell perfectly and she looked amazing in a tight, light pink dress. Suddenly I felt like a big cow with bad hair. Everything I had thought when I looked in the mirror earlier was gone. Niall hugged her and introduced us. Even though she seemed really nice, I had already made up my mind about her. I absolutely despised her and didn't want her near Harry or Niall.

The waiter led us to a table in a separate part of the restaurant. I figured Niall didn't want to be interrupted by fans. We sat in a booth for four, Niall and I on one sofa and Harry and the girl whose name was Amanda opposite us.  The atmosphere was so tense I felt like I could touch it.

Niall was as always talking on and on about different things to ease up the mood but I wasn't really listening. My full attention was on Amanda's hand which was slowly making its way up Harry's leg. I could see on his smirk that he liked it. He laid his arm around her and played with her hair while talking to Niall. She was enjoying all the attention and moved her hand further up his leg. Harry turned his head towards me and saw that I was looking at what Amanda was doing. He smirked and looked at me as if he was saying "Look, I don't need you, I can get a ten times hotter girl any time I want."

The thought of that made me so upset. I turned to Niall and took a strong grip around his neck, dragged him close to me and kissed him roughly. I wanted to show Harry that I didn't need him either. When I ended the kiss and turned towards Harry, ready to see his sad eyes looking at me I was shocked. He wasn't sad at all, he was busy having his tongue in Amanda's mouth. So much emotion came over me at once I could barely hold it inside. I knocked over the glass in front of me so water spilled all over Amanda. She screamed and ran off to the toilet with Harry right behind her.

Niall just laughed and said: "You're always so clumsy, Ash."

I sat quiet because this time it wasn't my clumsiness, this time it was pure anger. I was jealous. I couldn't stand seeing Harry with another girl.

Later that evening my phone beeped and I had to crawl out of bed to get it. We had ended the date early because Amanda needed to change her clothes. I was now laying in bed trying to understand my own behavior. It was a text message: "Could you be any more obvious, Ash? You're so jealous. Now you know how I feel all the time. xx Harry"
