Lady Philippa Clifford

Lady Phillipa Clifford is the eldest daughter of Lord Robert Clifford, Baron Clifford of Star Base 12 and his wife, Lady Elizabeth Mortimer and she was born in 2253.

Lord Robert Clifford heir is his son, Lord John Clifford who is the father of Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford who was the love interest of Lord Richard William Carey in 2268, and when Lord John Clifford heard that Lord Richard William Carey was the great-great-grandson of Lord Frederick William Howard he opposed that his daughter, Lady Henrietta Rose marry into the Howard family and she did as her father wished and she refused Lord Richard William Carey's proposal of marriage in 2270.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR was angry with Lord John Clifford as he was only a Baron and Lord Richard William Carey was a Duke and it would have elevated his daughter to the position as Duchess of Bedford Territory.

Lord John Clifford marries Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford to Lord James Cavendish in 2270, and Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his first cousin twice removed " Lady Henrietta Rose married Lord James Cavendish, but it is his brother that will inherit his father's Dukedom and Territory."

"You can do better than that Lord Richard William Carey." Lord Charles Andrew JR states, " I believe that your great-aunt, Lady Philadelphia Carey, is married and she may have a daughter of your age. "

"Lord William Carey, your great-grandfather, had a sister named Lady Philadelphia Carey and she married well." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.

"Lady Philadelphia Carey has a daughter named Lady Elizabeth Bourchier and she is only three years younger than you." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells his first cousin twice removed.

Lord Richard William Carey looks at his first cousin twice removed and respectfully asks him to stop playing matchmaker for him.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR presses the idea that Lord Andrew Charles Howard marry Lady Philippa Clifford and has his first male line grandchild.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at his father and tells him " She is not without good looks, and she is good in bed. I wouldn't marry her and I would never let her have my children."

"Your great-grandmother and grandmother knew it and they just turned the other cheek with their husband's infidelity. I know that your great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard, had he lived so long would have both of their rear-ends." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR states.

"Neither of their children can inherit the Dukedom and territory of Norfolk, but I can amend the Act of Succession to where Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard's daughter, Lady Georgette Carey's great-grandson will inherit Norfolk Territory." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR states "As Lord George Frederick Carey's great-grandchildren will inherit the dukedom and territory of Bedford."

"Lady Sophia, Charlotte's great-grandson through her daughter, is next in line to inherit the Dukedom and Territory of Norfolk." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.

"I won't give you until 2277." Lord Charles Andrew JR states " You have until December of 2275 to give me a male line grandchild."

"I can't tell your cousins who to marry but I am your father and I can tell you." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.

"I won't marry unless I can marry for love and marry me if you want but I don't have to consummate my marriage and then I will get an annulment for non-consummation of our marriage." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR looks at his son " I am telling you that you have to marry."

"I am telling you father that I won't marry unless I can marry for love and I promise to give you your first male line grandchild." Lord Andrew Charles states.

Lord Andrew Charles continues to court Lady Philippa Clifford but it doesn't result in a marriage between them as Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR remembers what her uncle did to Lord Richard William Carey when he refused to allow his daughter to Lord Richard William Carey.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR looks towards other aristocratic families with daughters that are three years younger than Lord Andrew Charles Howard to marry.

The prospects are grim with only two other daughters born in 2253 and neither catch the attention of Lord Andrew Charles Howard, but he has mind settled on Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell who lives out at Madame's Boarding House in Bedford Territory.
