Lord John Seymour is the son of Sir Thomas Seymour and his wife, Ida de Grey and he is also related to Lord Edmund Grey through a common ancestor Sir Henry Grey who was a favorite of King John of England, the youngest son of King Henry II of England.

Sir Roger Seymour traveled with Lord Patrick William Howard in 2153 and in 2168 his wife Duchess, Lady Caroline Fitzroy, a direct descendant of King Charles II and his son, Henry Fitzroy, 1st Duke of Grafton had a son,Lord Robert Seymour and he married in 2185 to Lady Frederica Louise Fitzroy and in 2190 they had a son, Lord William Seymour and he married in 2210 to Lady Margaret Butler and they had a son, Lord Thomas Seymour in 2230 and he is the father of Lord John Seymour.

Lord John Seymour was born in February of 2250 and he had a sister, Lady Margaret Seymour born in 2256 in the Dukedom and Territory of Somerset on Star Base 12.

Lord Thomas Seymour takes his son to the same cotillion in 2268 along with Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, Lord George Frederick Carey, Lord Richard Edward Howard Senior, Lord Andrew Charles Howard, and Lord Frederick William Howard II and they all walk in with their sons headed by Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR who is the head of the Howard family.

They all looking for brides for their sons at the same time, but in the year of 2268, there wasn't much a selection and they have to return to the Cotillion of 2269, and to the cotillion of 2270, and still not much of a selection at any of the cotillions and Lord Richard Edward Senior looks at his older brother,Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR along with his two uncles, Lord Frederick William II and Lord Andrew Charles Howard, and his first cousin, Lord George Frederick Carey.

Lord Richard Edward Howard SR asked his brother, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR "You expect me to find my son a bride at these cotillions?"

"Lord Richard Edward. There are still two more cotillions before our sons turn 20 years old." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells his younger brother.

"Listen bro. There are only a handful of daughters of Viscounts and Barons here attending. My son deserves better than a mere daughter of a Viscount or Baron." Lord Richard Edward SR tells his older brother.

"I have to concur with Lord Richard Edward Senior." Lord Frederick William II tells his nephew.

"My son is the grandson just like you of Lord Frederick William Howard." Lord Frederick William II tells his nephew.

"I third the motion, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR. My great-grandson is the heir to the Dukedom of Northumberland Territory." Lord Andrew Charles tells his nephew.

Lord George Frederick Carey remains silent as he doesn't give up hope.

Lord Thomas Seymour is there with Lord John Seymour and he looks around for a potential marriage for his son, Lord John Seymour and he looks at his son,Lord John " There is always next year my son. I won't marry you to the daughter of a Viscount or Baron."

Every year goes by and still Lord Thomas Seymour is unable to find his son, Lord John Seymour a bride, until he meets Lord Jeremiah Collins, and Lord Jeremiah tells Lord Thomas Seymour"I have three daughters, but only two will be ready to marry in 2274."

"Lady Josette is my eldest daughter, and she was born in 2252 and Lady Isabella was born in 2254, and Lady Millicent was born in 2260." Lord Jeremiah states.

"My family doesn't come from an aristocratic family, but my great-great-grandfather traveled with Lord Patrick William Howard, and Lord Patrick William Howard and my great-great-grandfather, Lord Joshua Collins were good friends along with Lord John Carey and Lord Edmund Beaufort." Lord Jeremiah explains.

"My good wife and I are unable to provide a dowry for our daughters, but they are worthy to marry into any aristocratic or gentry family on Star Base 12." Lord Jeremiah states.
