Lord Andrew Charles Howard decides to journey out to Pembroke Territory on horseback and following him by carriage is his butler, valet, cook and maid and he heads first to Wessex Territory to spend a couple of days with his first cousin, Lord Richard Edward Howard II, who is Duke of Wessex Territory.
Lord Richard Edward Howard II is happy to see his first cousin, Lord Andrew Charles Howard as they were best friends and allies growing up together in Norfolk and attending the same parochial school.
Lord Richard Edward Howard II notices that his favorite cousin is moody and withdrawn and when he asks what is a matter.
Lord Andrew Charles tells Lord Richard Edward II "I am lonely without Lady Karissa and Lady Elizabeth." Lord Andrew Charles admits.
"I would be miserable with Lady Susan." Lord Richard Edward II admits.
"We are expecting our first child together in March of 2276." Lord Richard Edward II tells his cousin.
"We will want a son, but we will be just as happy with a daughter." Lord Richard Edward II admits.
"How do you like the name Lady Richenda Edwina Howard for a daughter?" Lord Richard Edward asks.
"I like the name cousin. " Lord Andrew Charles admits "What if it's a boy?"
"Lord Richard Edward Howard III." Lord Richard Edward II says "After my father and me."
"It makes sense." Lord Andrew Charles states "I was named in honor of our late grand-uncle."
"When I have a son. I want a new name." Lord Andrew Charles admits.
"Leave it to Lady Karissa. She always has a new name for your children." Lord Richard Edward II tells his cousin.
"How was Lady Karissa and Lady Elizabeth when they arrived?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"Lady Karissa and your daughter, Lady Elizabeth were well but tired I dare say. Lady Susan showed them to their suite and she left me to entertain our second cousins." Lord Richard Edward II tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"How were our two second cousins?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"Our two second cousins were fine." Lord Richard Edward Howard II tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"I am glad to hear it." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lord Richard Edward II.
"Lady Karissa and her entourage left Wessex Territory and I saw them safely to the border of Wessex and Essex where Lord David William Beck met them at the border." Lord Richard Edward II tells his cousin.
"I see, Lord Richard Edward II." Lord Andrew Charles tells him.
Lord Andrew Charles asks his cousin to show him to his suite and he gets his household settled in their quarters for the next two days.
Lord Andrew Charles stays at Wessex Manor for two days and two nights and on the third day he departs and heads straight for Pembroke Territory.
Lady Karissa is not expecting him as he hasn't given her any notice, but Pembroke is full of surprises and they are always ready to welcome a descendant of Lord Patrick William Howard's and Lord Andrew Charles Howard is taken by surprise when the good people welcome him to Pembroke Territory and he is so taken by emotion he starts to cry.
From her balcony at Pembroke Castle, Lady Karissa hears the musicians once again,and she wonders what has brought out the towns musicians and she calls for her lady to bring her shawl to put on and she has Barbara to dress Lady Elizabeth and she asks the carriage to be brought around and she has the driver to drive her to the border where she sees Lord Andrew Charles Howard being welcomed into Pembroke Territory and Lady Karissa with Lady Elizabeth go to meet Lord Andrew Charles in Pembroke.
Lady Karissa walks over with Lady Elizabeth and she asks "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
"I wanted to surprise you, Lady Karissa. I missed Lady Elizabeth . I stayed with dad for a week, then I stayed with Lord Richard Edward II and I came straight here to Pembroke Territory and the people welcomed me with music and dancing." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"I know why my great-great-grandfather loved Pembroke Territory so much. It is because of its hospitality." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"I would love to see Pembroke Castle." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"Come on then, I will have my maid prepare your suite and you can see Pembroke Castle." Lady Karissa tells him.
"You can see Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Thomas William Howard and spend some time with our daughter, Lady Elizabeth." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
Lord Andrew Charles takes Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane in his arms and he kisses her and tells her "I have missed you my princess. Have you been good for your mother?"
"Oh yes. Her Grace has been very good. She has a tribe of new baby-dolls." Lady Karissa says with a laugh.
Lady Elizabeth shows her favorite baby-doll to her father and he asks her " What is her name?"
"Lady Elizabeth named her Kosem." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"What after the Sultana of The Ottoman Empire and wife of Ahmed I of The Ottoman Empire?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"Yes, Lord Andrew Charles." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Father sends his love to his heiress and to you." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"Lord Charles Andrew Howard III is taking care of Beltane Manor until we return."Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"We will be returning to Beltane Manor prior to Yuletide of 2275, but in the Georgian Year of 2276." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
Lady Karissa holding Lady Elizabeth guides Lord Andrew Charles to Pembroke Castle and where he is greeted by his two second cousins standing at the door and they greet him and he greets them.
Lady Karissa carries Lady Elizabeth in her arms and by her side is Lord Andrew Charles Howard and on her other side are Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Thomas William Howard and they all walk into Pembroke Castle.
Lord Andrew Charles is amazed by all the portraits of King Edward III, Prince John of Gaunt, Lord John Beaufort, his son, Lord John and his daughter, Lady Margaret along with her son, King Henry VII hanging on the walls of Pembroke but he doesn't see any of The Howard family hanging on the walls and he asks "Why?"
"Lord Patrick William Howard moved all of them to Norfolk Estate in 2175." Lord Thomas William tells his second cousin.
Lady Karissa informs him "I will hang portraits of Lady Elizabeth Ann Howard, me, and all of the Marchionesses of Pembroke Territory on the walls of Pembroke Territory."
Lord Andrew Charles is finally happy when he is with Lady Karissa and Lady Elizabeth.
