From out of nowhere, a new aristocrat appeared on Star Base 12 and he was a direct descendant of King John of England and his natural son, Lord Richard Fitzroy and his daughter, Lady Isabella Fitzroy who married Sir Maurice de Berkeley.
Lord Thomas Berkeley arrives to claim the Barony of Berkeley that his great-grandfather, Lord John Berkeley left in his Last Will and Testament but he was living on Star Base 10.
Lord Thomas Berkeley is also related to The Howard family through Lady Isabella Mowbray who was the youngest sister and aunt of Lord John Howard through Lady Isabella Mowbray who married James Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley.
Lord John Howard and Lord William Berkeley were first cousins through their mother, Lady Margaret and Lady Isabella, but Lord John was the son of the elder daughter of Lord Thomas Mowbray and Lord John Howard was his eldest grandson and because he served King Richard III and The York's faithfully he was awarded The Dukedom of Norfolk in 1483.
Lord Thomas Berkeley arrives on Star Base 12 to claim the Barony of Berkeley from his grandfather and he is close to Lord Andrew Charles Howard age and he was born in 2251 on Star Base 10.
Lord Thomas Berkeley is also related to the Clifford family as well through a daughter, Lady Isabella who married Lord Robert Clifford, 3rd Baron Clifford and this made him a distant relative to Lady Henrietta Rose Clifford who broke the heart of Lord Richard William Carey in 2270.
Lord Thomas Berkeley is good looking, tall, and well-educated, but when he arrives Lord Andrew Charles Howard, Duke of Norfolk Territory puts up his guard immediately.
Lord Andrew Charles tells his father "There is a new Baron on Star-Base 12 and what do you know about him?"
"You are worried about a mere Baron's grandson that arrived when your grandfather was Duke of Norfolk Territory." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR asks his son.
"All I know is that Lord Berkeley arrived during your grandfather's time in 2210 one month after I was born, and my father didn't consider him a threat at all." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.
"There are several Barons on Star Base 12 and they are quite harmless." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I am not sure who Lord Thomas Berkeley's father is and I only met his grandfather once or twice. I know that they are related to The Howard's through The Daughters of Lord Thomas Mowbray, the First Mowbray Duke of Norfolk." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I know that The Howard's and The Berkeley's are related through King John of England and two of his sons." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR states.
"That old rascal, King John had a lot of children with his second queen, Isabella and with his mistresses." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR states.
King John had two sons, King Henry III and Lord Richard of Cornwall and he had a natural son, Lord George Fitzroy." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR states.
"I am worried about him getting his dirty hands on my Duchess." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
"I think your Duchess is perfectly able to handle herself, Lord Andrew Charles." Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR states.
"If she can handle Lt. Commander Kevin Thomas Riley and your damn first cousin,Lord Alexander Charles Stuart, she can handle a mere grandson of Baron." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"You have nothing to worry about."Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I know that father, but who is this Baron anyway." Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"Lord Thomas Berkeley is just a Baron and he is here to claim his Barony, Lord Andrew Charles. He deserves your respect as all of the aristocrats here on Star Base 12." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I am sure that Lady Karissa knows some eligible young women suitable for Lord Thomas Berkeley." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I think that Kevin Thomas Riley is engaged to Lady Isabella Collins." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Lord Andrew Charles. There are other Viscounts and Barons living on Star Base 12." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I know that Lord John Clifford has a daughter, Lady Mary Clifford and she is two years younger than he is." Lord Charles Andrew JR states "They are both grandchildren of Barons and perfectly match for each other." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.
"Lord Laurence Hastings has a daughter named Lady Elizabeth Hastings,and Lord John Grey has a daughter, Lady Constance Grey, and yes they are related to Lord Edmund Grey,Duke of Suffolk Territory." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.
"I am sure that one of these young women will suit Lord Thomas Berkeley." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
Lord Andrew Charles looks at his father " These Berkeley's seem like social climbers and they marry into some of the most influential families on Star Base 12."
Lord Andrew Charles looks at his father and he tells him " I will have Lady Karissa ask these young women and she can decide which one is most suitable for Lord Thomas Berkeley."
When Lord Andrew Charles asks Lady Karissa to have all three ladies over she looks at Lord Andrew Charles " Andrew Charles. We decided to do away with these archaic marriage practices."
"I will have these young women over and see which one is best suitable for Baron Berkeley." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
