After meeting the two young women, Lord Thomas Berkeley decided upon Lady Constance Grey, and she was a cousin of Lord Edmund Grey, Duke of Suffolk Territory on Star Base 12.

When Lord Thomas Berkeley decided upon Lady Constance Grey, he informed Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard of his choice.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard did not ' look surprised, but then again Lord Andrew Charles told Lord Thomas " I can't speak for Lord Edmund Grey, The Duke of Suffolk Territory. You will need his consent to marry his niece, as he is the Patriarch of The Grey family." Lord Andrew Charles explains.

"You will need to contact Lord Grey and ask him to meet you at the border of Norfolk and Suffolk due to the Prime Directive that was set forth by Lord Patrick William Howard and the other Lord's and The United Federation of Planets."

Lord Andrew Charles once he receives consent from Lord Edmund Grey to travel from Norfolk into Suffolk takes Lord Thomas Berkeley and he sees him safely to the border.

Lord Edmund Grey is at the border of Norfolk and Suffolk territories and Lord Edmund Grey, Duke of Suffolk walks over to where the Howard carriage is with Lord Thomas Berkeley and Lord Edmund is the great-great-grandson of Lord Reginald Grey who traveled with Lord Patrick William Howard in 2153.

"Good Day, Lord Howard." Lord Edmund tells Lord Andrew Charles.

"Good Morning Grey." Lord Andrew Charles tells him " I have brought Lord Thomas Berkeley to you. He wants to marry your niece, Lady Constance Grey."

"Lord Thomas Berkeley." Lord Edmund asks, "I don't believe I know him."

"Viscount Berkeley hasn't been here that long on Star Base 12. He is from Star Base 10." Lord Andrew Charles explains.

"The Berkeley's have some connection with the Howard's and Clifford's." Lord Andrew Charles states.

"One of Lord Berkeley's ancestor married an ancestress of mine, or rather her sister did and that was Lady Isabella Mowbray who married James Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley as her second husband, and they had several children, so Lord John Howard and Lord Thomas Berkeley, 5th Baron Berkeley were first cousins, but further down the line Lord Henry Berkeley his great-great-grandson married the great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord John Howard, Lady Elizabeth Howard and their son, Lord Thomas Berkeley married Lady Elizabeth Carey, the great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk through the matrilineal side of Lord John Howard through his granddaughter, Lady Elizabeth Howard and her daughter, Lady Mary Boleyn and Lord William Carey and their son, Lord Henry Carey and his son, Lord George Carey and his daughter, Lady Elizabeth Carey." Lord Andrew Charles explains.

"You can see that The Berkeley's are related to The Howard's, Carey's, and Nowbray's through both the patrilineal and matrilineal line." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lord Edmund Grey, Duke of Suffolk Territory."

"Lord Andrew Charles. Lady Constance is the daughter of my younger brother, Lord John and the final decision is up to him." Lord Edmund states, "I will put in a good word on behalf of Lord Berkeley."

"Fair enough, Lord Grey." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lord Edmund Grey.

Lord Edmund Grey summons his younger brother, Lord John Grey and his wife, Lady Constance to Suffolk Manor and Lord Edmund tells his brother " Lord Berkeley has asked me to court and marry Lady Constance, brother."

"Lord Berkeley is distantly related to the Howard's and Carey's through the patrilineal and matrilineal line." Lord Edmund Grey tells his brother, Lord John.

"One of Lord Berkeley's ancestress marry a Berkeley and she was the sister of Lord John Howard's mother, Lady Margaret and further down the line, a Berkeley married the great-great-granddaughter of Lord Thomas Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk, and even further down the line a Berkeley married the great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk." Lord Edmund explains.

"I don't have to remind you that our great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Reginald Grey traveled with Lord Patrick William Howard and because of his foresight he saved our great-great-great-grandfather from demise." Lord Edmund states.

Lord John looks at his brother, Lord Edmund and asks " This Lord Thomas Berkeley is only a Baron and my daughter is the daughter of an Earl."

"Lord Berkeley is a Viscount and one his nieces, Lady Elizabeth married into the Craven family." Lord Edmund states.

"Lady Constance isn't getting any younger and do you want grandchildren?" Lord Edmund states, " My eldest daughter, Lady Catherine married into the Beck family and Lord Beck was only a Viscount, but Lady Catherine is very happy with Lord Timothy Christopher Beck and his brother is Earl of Essex Territory and is the grand-nephew of Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and first cousin once removed of Lord Andrew Charles Howard and he is the great-great-great-grandson of Lord Patrick William Howard." Lord Edmund states.

"I am a grandfather to Lord David Edward Christopher Grey." Lord Edmund states.

Lord John looks at his brother " I will agree to this marriage only because it is well-connected." Lord John explains.

Lord John Grey finalizes the courtship between his daughter, Lady Constance and Lord Thomas Berkeley, Viscount Berkeley and they are married in June of 2280, shortly after Lady Karissa gives birth to Lord Anthony Christopher Howard, Duke of Lancaster Territory.
