She heard her brother Lucerys laugh to himself, making her look back to Aemond. He stood holding his cup high in the air.

"Final tribute." Everyone went silent as they looked up at him in anticipation. "To the health of my nephews: Jace... Luke and Joffrey." He said, looking toward them all.

"Each of them handsome, wise... strong." Daella hit her head on the back of her chair as she put her hands to her face. "Aemond," Alicent said nervously.

"Come... let us drain our cups to these three..." Daella put her hands down, seeing her husband grab his cup.

"Strong boys." She rolled her eyes and pushed her chair out from the table. "I dare you to say that again," Jace said.

"Why? 'Twas only a compliment. Do you not think yourself strong?" He asked, slowly walking toward her brother, who was making his way to the table.

As Jace punched Aemond, Daella stood quickly from her chair. Aegon grabbed Luke, slamming him into the table.

She grabbed her husband by his shoulders, pulling him back away from her brother. Jace was pushed to the floor as Daella placed herself between Luke and Aegon.

Baela was being held back by Rhaena from fighting as a guard held Jace back. She gave her husband a look, and he smirked, backing away.

"I was merely expressing how proud I am of my family, mother. Though it seems my nephews and niece aren't quite as proud of theirs." Aemond told his mother, walking back toward Jace.

Rhaenyra stood by Jace as Daemon held his hand up, coming in front of Jace. "Go to your quarters. All of you go, now." Rhaenyra tells her children, even looking toward Daella.

Daella took Luke's arm in her hand as they followed Jace out of the room. As they all made their way to their quarters, Luke stopped.

"Could I stay with you?" He asked Daella, who smiled. "Of course, you are always welcome." She tells him, linking his arm to hers.

Now they sat in her chambers by her fireplace speaking. "If I had known..." She began attempting to find an apology.

Luke shook his head, looking toward his sister, "It is not your fault. You have to live amongst them. I do believe you should return to Dragon stone." She shakes her head with a smile.

"Do not worry. I also wish to return to my family. It would be nice to have my children know their uncles better." She tells him and it sounds like a distant dream.

"Mayhaps mother could speak to the Queen or..." Daella shook her head, standing up from her seat.

"I will return there when the time is right. I promise you." She tells him, leaning down and placing a kiss on his head.

She stood straighter, placing herself in front of her brother as a knock was heard. "Mother, what is wrong?" She asked as her mother walked in, fiddling with her rings.

"We will be returning to Dragon stone," Rhaenyra answers, making Daella shake her head, hurrying up to her mother. "You are leaving already."

"Luke, could you get prepared," Rhaenyra said, looking past her daughter. Luke nodded and hugged Daella tightly before leaving the room.

"My sweet girl, I will see your brothers to Dragon stone, but I will be back." She said, placing her hands on her daughter's biceps.

"I can't part again. I will tell the Queen I am going as well. She can not stop me." Daella says, walking past her mother. Rhaenyra sighs softly, taking her daughter in her arms.

"Your children are here." "They can come with me. I can strap Vaegon to me as Aylsaa Targaryen before." She told her mother as the door opened.

The mother and daughter parted, seeing Annalie standing by the door. "The boys are ready as well as the girls," Annalie told Rhaenyra, who nodded to the maid.

"I love you, my sweet girl. I will join you for breakfast, I promise." Rhaenyra told her daughter, kissing her forehead and then leaving the room.

As the doors closed, she walked toward her window and began thinking.
