The following day Daella and Helaena held each other's arms as they walked along the beach. Aenys and Aemma were ahead of them, both looking for seashells.

"I fear that a war will come," Helaena whispered as she looked at the sand covering her shoes.

Daella stopped and removed her arm from Helaenas grasp. "If a war should, you will be protected." She says, taking Helaena's hands into hers.

"If that is the one thing I can honestly promise," Daella says as Helaena meets her eyes. "I believe you, though if war was to come, I do not wish for you to fight," Helaena says, holding onto Daella's hands tightly.

Daella gave a soft smile and placed a hand on Helaenas's cheek. "Now, that is what I cannot promise. I will do what I must for my Queen." She says as Helaena shakes her head.

"Mother! Mother!" Aenys shouted as he ran up to them, holding his hand in the air. Aemma was still ahead of them, digging in the sand, though Helaena had told her not to that morning.

"What have you found?" Daella asked as Aenys stopped before them holding his hand up to them. Helaena gently took the shell from his hand with a soft smile.

"It reminded me of Gaelithox when I found it." He said as Helaena handed the shell over to Daella who looked at it softly.  It was a red shell that had specks of orange that was a conus shell.

"It is beautiful. You should find one that matches dreamfyre." Daella whispers giving her son a gentle nudge as Helaena smiles. "It will be supper soon," Helaena says as she puts her hand on Daellas arm.

"I shall stay with Aenys," Daella says looking at her son who was digging in the sand. "Aemma," Helaena says causing the little girl to lift her head. Helaena held her hand out and Aemma quickly stood running over to take it.

"We shall meet you at supper," Helaena says as Daella brushes her hand over her daughter's head. She watched them leave before turning and walking to Aenys.

"Have you found one, My Darling?" She asked as she squatted down to his side as he continued to dig in the sand. She smiled and brushed his hair with her fingers as he shook his head.

"On the morrow, we shall come out and look again. Perhaps we could persuade Baela to join." Daella said watching as her son's head shot up. "Could we?" He asked making her nod.

"I am sure she would love to," Daella said as she stood and helped Aenys up to his feet. She leaned down wiping the sand from his clothes before he turned and did the same to her dress.

Once they both were rid of sand they took each other's hands and walked toward the stairs. As they entered the doors and into the room that held the painted table she gave her mother a nod as the council was still talking since morning.

They walked past and into the corridor where they would reach her chambers. Inside was Helaena and Aemma as well as the servants who were placing food on the table.

"Will grandmother eat?" Aemma asked as she picked up her fork. "Of course, but she is meeting now and we mustn't bother," Daella says as she takes her seat beside Helaena while Aenys took one across from her.

The four of them ate as well as held conversation. Though they had not known what that night would hold. Helaena had a sinking feeling but decided to wait until bed to tell Daella.
