As they entered their now shared chambers, she found her stuff. It was nice, but she preferred her mother's old room. Aegon let go of her hand and made his way to the fireplace.

There were two chairs along with a table in the middle. On the table was a pitcher that she could guess held alcohol.

"Dear husband, perhaps you should rest." She tells him, watching him sway, pouring a new drink. "I am fi-" He tried to say, but she walked to him and led him to the bed.

She moved the blankets, and he lays on the bed. Daella covered him with the blankets. She took the cup he set on the nightstand.

"I'm sorry..." He whispered, causing her to turn and look at him. "What about?" She asked, knowing he was drunk.

"That you had to marry me." Daella walks toward him, seeing him wearing a frown. "You are drunk. Your words hold nothing." She told him, watching his face scrunch up and put his hands on his face.

"I know you don't love me." He whispered again, making her head lower. "Could you learn to?" She looked at him before shrugging her shoulders. "I might... I don't know."

"Get some rest now." She tells him before blowing the candles out. She looked over to the cup before looking at him.

In the darkness, she could make out that he was already asleep. She sighed as she walked to her new closet and pulled a nightgown out.

She changed into it before a knock was at the door. She looked at herself before smoothing out the gown. She walked toward the door and opened it.

"Are you going to sleep in there?" Jace asked as he looked down at her nightgown. She turned her head, looking at her now husband. "He is asleep. I will be all right."

He gave her one last look before sighing and walking down the hall. She closed the door and made her way over to the bed. She lifted the blanket and slid into them.

She felt weird now having someone in bed with her. She felt shuffling and turned her head to see Aegon roll over back to face her.

She wiped a single tear away as she rolled over her back, facing him. She then finally fell asleep next to her now husband, Aegon.
