The Contract (levi x reader)

Chapter four

"Thanks levi..." You whispered as he finished bandaging your ankle and foot. You tried desperately not to make eye contact ever since entering his apartment as each memory from that night came flooding back in. The apartment was huge, and the giant windows that led to the balcony revealed a gorgeous view of the city. You didn't remember seeing any of that the morning you woke up in levis bed. But then again you rushed out of there shortly after getting dressed.

Thankfully levi never mentioned it, and went straight to tending to the burns on your ankle, which weren't as severe as they felt.

"You'll have to change the bandage on your own tonight, and I'm serious. Even though they're not that bad they're still burns that can get infected so..." he lectured before snapping the lid back onto his first aid kit and rising to his feet.

"Yeah yeah whatever." You pouted as he sat next to you om the couch, holding the contract to where it was visible for you to read as well.

On the way to the apartment untill right at this moment, not much was said about the contract. He mentioned holding off untill you were taken care of.

"I'm not pressuring you, I want to know if you have any thoughts about this before we go into details."

"I do have a couple of ideas to add to this... if I'm being honest. How soon will things be moving if I were to sign it?" You asked as he lifted your injured foot up onto the couch and laid it gently against one of the throw pillows he had.

You fekt your insides twist, oh how gentle his rough hands felt against you as he moved you, leaving your body yearning for his hand once again, as his alluring gaze met yours.

God I'm such a whore...

" If you do sign it however you'll be moving into my place as soon as tomorrow and quitting SNK on Monday. You can work out your final two days there but after that you're ackerman property." The way he spoke was so matter of fact it sounded to you like he was trying to score a deal.
And your heart jumped at the word property as it escaped his lips.

I mean.. he kind of is trying to get a deal..
You shook your head clearing it of your thirsty thoughts and looked down at your paperwork.
"Yes. The contract... I've reviewed it a bunch since your proposal..." You admitted as you studied it once again finding His name was already signed at the bottom.

Wow... he's serious about this marriage..

"You have? Was there anything you wanted to add or need clarification on?" He asked as you rolled your lower lip against your teeth as he lowered his gaze to you.
"We're really doing this, huh? All so you can recieve an investment? I find it hard to imagine.." You sighed, reaching your hand towards your eyes and rubbing them. Your head ached as it tried to wrap your head around this.

"It is. Also, if I have a wife it'll show the world that I'm unavailable.. so that maybe I can enjoy a charity ball, or any event without being bombarded with a million proposals from thirsty women."

Charity balls.. that's where I met thomas..
You nodded your head and pushed your lips together mulling over your thoughts.

"And you're sure you want ME?" You asked as he slid his hand against your ankle gently running his fingers across the bandages.
"Yes. You're the most ideal candidate for this position."

"Position? You make it sound like a job." You teased, reaching for a pen as he snickered at your remark.

"Dealing with you will feel like a second job to me." He smirked before leaning his back against the couch studying you.
