"do you want to be rewarded or punished?" Levi growled as he leered at me from his seat. You met his gaze with the same intensity as his assistant, Hannah, let out a long sigh.
It had been days since the bed incident and Levi never once made you feel ashamed for ruining his sheets.
It was a strange situation for you but you let it go as the two of you began preparing for the ball that was happening sooner than later.
"Remember I won't be with you the entire night..." Levi began lecturing you as he paced the small office, standing from his little perch behind his desk.
He had brought you to Ackerman corporate office, so that you could practice insults with his assistant Hannah. It made you feel bad since she's been nothing but nice to you, but Levi insisted on using her to learn since she can be brutal at times."Why is this important again?" You ask and cross your arms over your chest. Levi gave a sigh, running his hand through the dark hair that messily draped itself across his forehead. He was really stressing about this, that part was obvious.
You cursed your hormones for the sinking heat that pooled at your core when he met you with his darkened gaze. Nothing was said, but the tension was definitely there.
"Miss Ackerman if you want to show your ex you don't care about him I promise you this is the best method. You don't know what people of high society will say to you when you show up as Levi's wife." Hannah smiled and clenched her fists showing her determination.
You couldn't help but smile. The thought of destroying whatever hold Thomas remained on you sounded lovely.
"Ok..." You began and took in a deep breath
"Hit me."....
Hannah was truly as brutal as Levi cautioned.
You groaned from the little couch in his office as Hannah smiled triumphantly. She had roasted you. She roasted you good.
"No hard feelings right miss Ackerman?" Hannah giggled as Levi let out a long sigh.
"Y/n these are things that will be said or done to you when Im not around." Levi tried to sound gentle, but you could tell this was really starting to annoy him."Why do I need to insult? Can't u just ignore it?" I asked. Levi rubbed his jawline for a minute, before the corners of his mouth tilted in a smirk.
"Ok. I thought the great y/n was opinionated and loved speaking her mind, but sure. Let's go the pacifist route." Levi adjusted his steel watch that looked so expensive you couldn't even phathom owning it.Moments like this really showed his business side, and why the women went crazy over him.
"Hannah." Levi began in a cold tone, that sent her sitting up straight as if afraid of him.
"Let's see if my dear wife can ignore things that bother her." Levi smirked as Hannah stood up and approached him.
You didn't know what was happening, but as soon as Hannah stood next to Levi, and he placed his arm around her, you felt a fire in the pit of your stomach.
"What are you doing?" You ask with a sigh as Hannah looks nervously between you two.
"Did you hear something Hannah?" Levi asked as she shook her head.
"No sir, I thought for a moment I heard an annoying fly on the wall, but I don't see anything over there." She smiled as Levi looked at her with a heated gaze.
It was clear what he was doing. He was trying to get under your skin.
"You're seriously doing this?"
"I think I heard it again sir." Hannah looked around as if she couldn't see me. I felt my hands clench, one thing I hated more than anything was being ignored like that. It was a constant thing in my relationship with Thomas, and in my relationship with my family.
