Chapter 18

Luke POV

We all started leaving the room to get food, everyone left but Marisa. When I walked out I almost ran into Joe.

"Oh I'm sorry" I said and he just smiled.

"Your the famous Luke aren't you." HE said and I tilted my head to the side, "Audrey has said a lot about you, I listened to your band too, you guys are alright."

"Yes I am Luke" I said with the tiniest smile I have ever given.

"Audrey told me that the reason she was depressed was not because of you but your fans. She started cutting again because they were hating on her, and I'm guessing when Marisa mom died that it sent her over the edge." Joe said and I just put my head in my hands.

"I'm a horrible person, how the hell did I not notice?" I said shaking my head.

"Audrey is very good at hiding her pain, hell I've known this girl since we were 1 and I just found out two months ago."

"Wait two months ago?" What!

"Yeah that's when she told me because we were facetiming and I could see the blood on her shirt." Fuck I was dating her then.

"How the fuck did I not notice, I was still dating her then. We were still together." Fuck.
"Like I said Audrey hides her pain very well" He gave me a small smile.
"What if she doesn't make it?" I asked, never thought i could cry this much.
"She will make it Luke. You have to stay positive" He said, obviously.

Marisa POV
I can't do this. Its all my fault. I over heard the real reason all this happened, but I did push her. I got upset and hurt her. Calum went home to get Lucy since he thought I needed her here. Luke still hasn't talked to me. talking bout him. He walked in with Calum and Lucy.
"Lucy!" I smiled and Luke gave me a dirty look an walked over to Audrey. Calum handed me Lucy. She is so beautiful, with her big brown eyes like Calums. She is pale like me though.

Luke POV
Marisa looked so happy when Lucy got here. It made me so angry, she has a perfect family and the girl I love is dying. The only girl I want a family with. The only girl for me. This is not fair, I have been trying to get her back and Marisa just sent her over the edge. I know Joe told me its not my fault or marisas but if she would have went into the bathroom or let me when i first got in. Audrey could be alive right now.

Why can't I have a happy family? Why is it that when I come close something always gets in the way. I have to get Audrey back. Like get her to marry me again.
"You should dude, I know she still loves you." Calum said. Oh shit I was talking out loud.
"Fuck, I said that out loud" He laughed. Marisa gave a small smile.
"Im really sorry Luke" Marisa said crying.
"I know" I said.
"I promise when she wakes up I will make everything right and I will help her. I will help you get her back." Marisa said tear after tear spilling from her eyes. I just nodded my head starting to cry too. I got up and hugged her.

We were all sitting there in silence. Lucy had fell asleep. When Audreys machine just started beeping really loud. It wasn't one long beep but many beeps. I immediately started freaking out. Doctors and nurses ran in. Telling us that we need to leave, but I couldnt. The one nurse allowed me to stay. The started pressing buttons on her machine and thats all I could see. I cant see Audrey because she is surrounded by people.
"I need everyone out of the room but you." They doctor said pointing to a nurse. All the others started to leave and brought me with them. Calum and Marisa looked up at me. I just fell to my knees and started crying. I can't lose her.
"I need her" I cried out. Calum just got down beside me and started rubbing circles on my back. I just got up and walked away.

I need to clear my head. I walked out of the hospital and I saw a McDonalds near by so I decided to walk over there. When I got there I ordered some food and sat down.
"Are you alright?" A girl asked me as she sat down.
"No" I said looking up at her. She is pretty but she got nothing on Audrey.
"What's wrong?" She asked. Batting her long eyelashes.
"My girlfriend is in the hospital on her death bed." I said eating some fries.
"Oh thats so sad. I'm sorry to hear that. How long have you two been together." She said and with her hand drew circles on the back of my hand, I took my hand back and ate a little more.
"Well a few years be we were sorta on a break" She got a huge smile on her face and got up kissed my cheek and slid me a slip of paper that I'm guessing has her number on it. An i was right.
"Hey you!" I yelled. She turned around, I got up and went over towards her. She had a gaint smile on her face and I put the peice of paper in the trash can.
"Slut" I said walking by her. She grunted and walked out.

I finished my food and went back to the hospital. When I got to the front door I took a big breath and walked in. I walked down the halls and up stairs till I got to her room. Calum and Marisa were no longer in the hall so I'm guessing there in the room. Mikey and Ash were still in America trying to find Audreys family to tell them. I walked in the love of my life is still in her coma. She looks so pale and it scares me. Joe is still here. Giving blood when ever he can and spreading positivity all around the hospital.
