"This is ridiculous." Third Reich muttered to himself, walking to his office in the Axis powers self-designated base. He had just gotten off the phone with Japan, who had told him that she had invited someone into their alliance. That someone being Ms. Scheiss-Ami herself. Third Reich hadn't had too many interactions with the American. Over his seven years of existing, he had only seen her a handful of times.

His first encounter had been at the Olympics back in 1936. He had been welcoming the other countries to Berlin, silently proud of his handiwork in hiding the evidence. His masterpiece had been in its earlier stages at the time, and he needed to make sure the others wouldn't put a stop to it before its magnificence could be realized. It was fairly easy. Ease up restrictions, tell the press to back off for a few weeks, and keep the people quiet. All had been done quickly and efficiently, all according to plan. Of course, there were still rumors. A few of the countries had even considered boycotting his games- apparently some of their people didn't approve of his artistry. Yet, he was able to assure them that the rumors were simply that- rumors, and that it wasn't nearly as extreme as people made it out to be. So they had come- some with high spirits for the games ahead, others with wary eyes, still uncertain about their decision to come.

She had been among those who were a bit nervous upon arrival, staying close to her father for most of the games. But, she eventually put aside her worries, her energy becoming borderline obnoxious as she cheered for the track star from Alabama.

That was an instance that stuck out clearly in Third Reich's mind (and admittedly, was partially the reason he was less-than thrilled to have to interact with her). He knew it wasn't the most fair reasoning, afterall, countries couldn't control who their people sent to the Olympics. Yet, even if she didn't have control over it, she didn't seem to mind having that dark-skinned man representing her. Forget his masterpiece- if there were any reason to boycott the games, it was letting that man compete.

That was really the only time he had seen the woman up close. Of course, during the rest of the games he had seen her in passing. She mostly stayed near Britain, though he had seen her a few times speaking with France, cracking jokes and winking way more than any person should in one conversation.

He groaned, sitting in his chair. He really didn't want to deal with that much chaotic energy on a daily basis. He thought for a moment... perhaps he could simply refuse? Then again, Japan and America have had good relations longer than Third Reich had been alive. Would Japan remain allies with him if he refused? Third Reich couldn't take that risk.

He stood up, walking over to a filing cabinet and opening one of the drawers. He flicked through about a dozen folders before reaching the one he desired. Upon his creation, he had asked a few of his officials to put together files on some of the more prevalent countries in the world. He hadn't really looked through many of them- only really paying attention to the ones regarding his allies and enemies. This particular one on America was essentially untouched. It wasn't that Third Reich was naive- he knew she could be a threat. However, he also knew that she tended to stay out of European affairs unless provoked, and Third Reich had no intention of getting her involved... Obviously, his adversaries had different plans.

He sat back down, flipping the folder open. The contents weren't as detailed as he would've prefered, but were still useful.
