Sanjana's POV:

The cab came and stood infront of a huge black gate. Getting down I looked at the big house, it looks beautiful from outside. The building is dark green in color. So awesome...

The area also looks a very decent. Whole way we both kept quit. Anyways we had nothing much to talk about. But he didn't leave my hand for a long time. But when I realized, I moved away.

When I looked at him. I knew he was worried about his family's reaction for the stupid decision he took, he actually deserves such a treatment.

Just before we could step in, he held my wrist and I stopped.

"Whatever happens inside now, I'm sorry it might be worse" He said looking straight into my eyes.

I just nooded leaving a heavy breath.

I held his hand intervening our fingers and talking deep beraths we stepped inside and walked up to the house. It led to the living room. It's a beautiful individual house. I can't deny the beauty of it.

"Shikha di, Rajeev jiju"
He called out to them.

Both husband and wife came running down the stairs. They stood at the edge of the stairs. Kabeer left my hand and walked towards them. They came down rushing and hugged him. They had an emotional group hug. I smiled actually looking at them.

"I'm so sorry... things just happened too soon for me even to think...

And one tight slap on his cheek. I jolted in my place. I guess it's the same place where my dad hit him. Poor guy. I thought but chuckled softly.

"Don't you think of talking or giving me any justification!" She spat venom on him.

"Honey, don't behave like this please. He's come after such a long time"
Her husband said and rubbed Kabeer's cheeks for him.

"Ho, and we got our new family member here I guess"
He said and looked over me.

I gave him a nervous smile. He smiled widely though.

The time I spoke to them on the phone was different than now. I am little scared and nervous.

"Rani, Lakshman, Sanjay... jaldi thali leke aao!"
She called some people in hindi.

"Go back and stand with her near the threshold of the door"
She told Kabeer sternly.

"Why, you're chasing me out?" He asked in fear.

"I wish I could do so, but sadly I can't" She faked a smile.

"God!! you brother and sister will scare the poor new kid" Her husband said looking at me again and chuckled.

Kabeer truned and gestured me to go out. We both walked and stood at the threshold. Then two boys and one girl came holding two plates and the girl was holding a cute little baby.

"That's my niece!" Kabeer whispered.

I felt his emotion and looked at his sparkling eyes. He controlled the water in them. He even cries? I thought to myself. He's good at only making other people cry.

Then his sister came and put a shawl over his neck and took the end of my dupatta and tied both the ends together. She kept a small pot of rice near my leg and a plate of red vermilion water. I immediately covered my head knowing the rituals as I remember doing it for my bhabhi. I never thought all this would happen for me one day.

She then welcomed us with a arthi and told us to hold hands and step inside together. We did everything according to what she said. As we came in, my foot prints came into the house as she lead us to the prayer room beside the kitchen near the dining area.
