Her decision

Kabeer's POV:

"Sir leave him to us for a few minutes, we will make him shit from his mouth"
Said one of the officers.

He looked at those officers in shock and got scared.

"Heard him right? He will really do it. So now, just say the truth as you got time"
Sam said and sat on the chair kept the other side of the table.

He gestured me to sit and I sat beside him.

"Speak up Rahul, time is running"
Sam again said in a scary tone.

"I... I don't know where she is, I really don't know anything"
He said softly in fear.

"We didn't ask you anything about her whereabouts! How do you know she's missing?"
I asked him smirking.

"I know she left you and you are searching for her but, I really don't know where she went. She didn't tell me anything. I too am searching for her. She has ruined my life in every way possible"
He said in frustration.

"What was the video which you were blackmailing her with?" Sam asked keeping his hands on the table.

"Eeee..." He chucked evily little.

Sam and myself shared a blank but confused look.

"She is a very innocent girl"
He said laughing slightly.

"Stop fooling around and speak clearly" One of the officers said catching his hair roughly.

"Ahh....okay calm down young man" He said arrogantly as that guy left him.

"I had lots of depth on my head
I needed money to repay everything. So I thought of a plan. I had few nude pictures of her which I clicked without her knowing while we were engaged. I showed them to my boss and he wanted her to make more money with our international clients. But she refused as this guy showed up there. I knew that she was lying to me at that moment"
He said with a smirk looking at me.

I gave him a blank stare. If I could punch the life out of him it would so nice. I thought.

"When she left me, I lost my job. I planned of taking revenge on her at any cost. First I thought to blackmail her with her pictures, but when I did, she wasn't afraid. So I planned something more nice"
He said leaning back on his chair stretching his arms with a wicked smile.

I so wished to hit and fist his nose till blood comes out. I thought fisting my knuckles.

"What did you do that she left home without saying?"
Sam asked him again in a serious tone.

"I lied to her that I have my men behind her husband and my one call can kill him. She instantly agreed to sleep with one of my clients just to save her husband and family"
He said and laughed loudly.

Only I know how I am controlling myself not to kill this guy. I need information from him till then, I need to wait patiently.

"What did you exactly do?"
Sam asked griting his teeth.

Before he could open his mouth we heard a knock on the door. We looked to see Ankur and Sahil at the door. We could see their faces through the small square glass on the door. Sam gestured to his officers to open it and then they came inside. Ankur came and stood beside me and Sahil stood behind.

"Sam, this is Rahul he was engaged to my sister" Sahil said in shock and confidence.

"I know, he has almost accepted his doings"
Sam said normally.

"Where is my sister? What did you do to her?" Sahil asked him in anger, pain and fear.

Shit! I didn't think of this part, what if he harmed her, what if she is no... Nonono Kabeer come into your sences nothing bad will happen. My mind told me but my heart cried.

"Speak up fast!"
Said the other officer again and smacked Rahul's head.

"Ouch..." He rubbed his head and glared at the officer.

"How did she agree to do everything you said?"
Sam asked suspiciously again.

"I kept an eye on her for a long time. One day I saw she didn't go to work and was alone at home. So I called and tricked her to come and meet me at a hotel saying I am sorry and want to repent for my deeds. As innocent as she is, she thought I changed my mind and came immediately. When she arrived at the hotel room. I deleted all her images from my phone in front of her for her to believe me fully. Then afterwards I told her that I need ready cash in hand right now or else her husband will die so she needs to give me money instantly or sleep with my client. She had no other way than to choose the second option. I again without her knowledge took out her video to blackmail her for more money later. But then she ran away when I called her again"
He said left a cool breath.

I heard her brother's sniffs, Ankur left a heavy breath. I just sat thinking about my innocent wife's heart and her difficult situation at that time. But another way how foolish could she be... Why didn't she tell me anything. I am in such a difficult situation.

"Did you know she was pregnant?"
Sam asked him directly.

"Yeah I knew it, she told me she can't sleep with anyone because she was pregnant, but to save her husband she was ready to do anything" He said normally.

"What? Kabeer, did you know about it?"
Sahil asked me shockingly.

I did not answer him as I didn't know what to exactly say.

"So the child is Kabeer's?" Ankur asked my hearts question.

"Yes she was already pregnant before going to my client. She begged me a lot, but I didn't give her words a shit. I forced and blackmailed her to do everything properly"
He said casually again.

I don't know whether to be happy or sad? How to react at the information or situation?
My heart said something and my mind thought different.

"Do you have any idea where she could be now?" Sam asked with a little hope.

"The last time I spoke to her, she was at home. I was actually outside her house. I saw her come out with her suitcase and get inside a cab. I followed her half way as my car stopped due to lack of petrol. I curse every moment of that time. I couldn't follow her to see where she went. I was so irritated"
He said in frustation.

"Where did you last see her cab?" Ankur asked eagerly.

"Near the Marien bus stop I guess"
He said scrtching his neck.

"Boys, I give him to you now. Do as you please" Sam said boldly and we stood up.

"Sam, can I have him for a minute alone?" I requested him.

"Heee.. Sure dued, just don't kill him. We still need him"
Sam tapped my shoulder and walked out with the others.

"Hey, hey, you officer. This is not right, this is illegal. I told you all the truth. You can't do this!" He yelled and stood up.

I broke my knuckles and streched my body. I gave him a sly smirk. He looked at me in fear and horror...
