leon drove off as violet walked up to the house opening it. she seen annie sitting on the couch watching tv. "hey i didn't know—" she quickly stopped seeing violets sad expression. "what's wrong?" she asked her voice full of worry.
"i did something stupid." violet said before she started crying.
"come here." annie said motioning violet over. she laid her head down on annie's lap as she sobbed annie played with her hair to help her calm down. "what happened?"
"i— i didn't know matt asked me romantically and he tried to kiss me and i pulled away and hurt his feelings and then leon told the triplets i knew about them all along and— ni— nick was mad and matt was hurt and chris couldn't even look at me! i lost them." she said fastly her chest rising up and down quickly.
"hey, hey. breath. it's okay. i'm here." annie said softly. she just let violet cry. after a solid hour she had violet go take a shower and after she did violet laid in her bed crying herself to sleep. dammit she was so stupid why did she do that? why couldn't she just have told them?
the next morning her eyes were puffy and she didn't want to get up. so she went under her comforter and blocked everything out. losing your best friends is harder than a break up for sure.
