annie woke up the next morning opening her phone to see violets post. she sighed getting up and knocking on violets door. no answer. again. no answer. she opened the door she wasn't there. "violet?" annie called out. it was the weekend so she wasn't at school. she didn't know how to drive so she couldn't have gone to get breakfast the bathroom was empty. "shit!" annie shouted.
she rushed into her room and quickly threw an outfit together. "hey." her perv of a neighbor called out.
"fuck off!" annie shouted flicking the man off getting in her car. next thing she knew her knuckles were colliding with a door. matt opened it. "is violet here?" annie asked looking over his shoulders. she pushed passed matt.
"yeah sure, come in." he said closing the door behind him.
"no. we don't talk to her, why?" matt asked as they walked into the living room where chris and nick were sitting on the couch shoving their mouths with popcorn.
"what're you doing here?" nick asked a attitude in his voice.
"violet is gone! i don't know where she is! she's gone!" annie shouted her breathing getting heavier. she held her chest. nick stood up quickly having annie sit down.
"okay, i'm sure she's fine. just breath. we can go to your house maybe look for a note?" nick said rubbing annie's shoulder.
"yeah. yeah. okay, come on." she said standing up abruptly and the four rushed out the door. when they got to the house they checked all over the place.
"hey!" chris shouted, "i found it!" the other three rushed over to him.
the letter had annie's name written in cursive it read:
hey annie, i'm sorry don't worry. i just want to be with mom and dad while i release the song. i will be back i promise i just, i want them right now. i love you.
a tear rolled down annie's face. "oh my god." she whispered sitting down holding the paper in between her fingers tightly.
"what's wrong?" chris asked worry lacing his voice.
"she ran away. and it's my fault. it's all my fault. i put it in her head. i talked about them. fuck!" she shouted more tears rolled down her face.
"who?" matt asked.
"her parents, her fucking dead parents! i made her feel guilty! i knew better."
the triplets looked at each other shocked. they expected that her parents had like abandoned her and maybe she was adopted or something not that they had died.
