She fell first, but he fell deeper. Jared & Allysa.
The events of this story take place after the first book. So I will not repeat any event on the first book, everything will go forward.
Allysa pov
"Bullshit!" Papers flew all over the conference room "A week..I gave you a week and this is what you're presenting?" He shouted "who is in incharge of this project?"
"Me sir" Jane raised her hand
"A woman, a fucking woman...this is why I hate this gender all you ever think is rubbish in your heads"
'What the hell! Is this guy okay?' I asked myself in my head. Does he hear himself right now?
"Just who hired her? Fucking disgusting" he kept on cursing and cursing. The whole room was quiet, tension was in the air. He is too scary to anyone's liking.
He is Jared. Jared Parker, the bastard of my boss. He is always angry, nothing is good for him. His employees fear him, but that isn't the case for me.
I Allysa, fear no one. Even if he is my boss, I will put him to his place. If he screams, I scream back. I will never let him mistreat me just because he claims to hate women.
Well, I've got news for him, I hate men twice as much.
"You have one day to give me a better presentation or you can kiss your job goodbye" he shouted before storming out of the room.
Everyone sighed in relief when he disappeared as if they weren't breathing at all.
Jane was sobbing in her seat quietly, I felt bad for her. She spent the whole week stressing out about this presentation, she skip lunch, loose her sleep just to be treated this way.
The problem here isn't the presentation cause he didn't listen to it even for two minutes, the problem is him. Bastard
"Don't worry Jane, I will talk to him" I assured her before storming out of the room
I walked faster to his office and barge in without knocking.
" what the hell?" A woman around my age shouted. She was spread on the table, he dress was up and her boobs out.
"Get lost woman" I shouted and the lady flinched
"Jared-" she called
"Stop being so cheap and leave this office now. God, it's only nine and you're already here" I scratched my head in frustration.
Everyday in this office comes two to three women asking for Jared and they all finish their business in the office. That's why I hate men, they are too dirty.
The lady look at Jared and he motion her to leave. She stood up fixing herself before going outside.
"What?" Jared shouted
"It's working hours, what are you doing? Couldn't she wait till later?" I shouted back
"You're not my fucking mum, so save your nagging" he shouted back
"I'm your fucking PA( personal assistant) so I will shout at you whanever I want. I can't just watch you bring this company into bankruptcy Jared"
"It's sir for you and I know what I'm doing so leave my office"
"You're Jared to me and I'm not leaving until you check this" I threw a file which contains Jane's presentation
He looked at me in disbelief and I was there staring back not badging "this is just rubbish" he said throwing it back to me
"Did you read it?" I asked and he stayed silent "that is what I thought. You didn't even give it a chance, just what is wrong with you Jared?"
"Sir" he reminded me. Well, I stopped calling him that over the years. He is always Jared to me.
You might be wondering why I didn't get fired till now. I did, I was fired once eight years ago, but he hired me back. He never got someone who can put up with his bullshit like me.
Every assistant he hired only stayed with him for a week and left after he shout at them. So here I am, stuck with him for eight years and he can't do shit about it.
His face contorted not wanting to be defeated but I was putting on a straight face not giving him a chance.
His hand massaged his temple for awhile before looking straight to my eyes
"Gosh, I hate you" he said
"Well, the feeling is mutual" I answered looking straight in his eyes
We stared at each other for a what felt like minutes until he finally look away
"Fine, I will look at it" he said and I gave him a smile before turning to leave.
I walked to the door and then turning to face him again "oh! I will come after two hours to get a feedback"
He groaned in frustration and I left
When I reach at my desk, I found all staff waiting for me
"How did it go?" Henry asked
I pulsed my lips for a second before shouting excitedly "he will look into it"
Everyone cheered hugging me
"You're a life saver Ally, we don't know what we would have done without you" Jane said
"Probably fired" Jason voice comes and they all laughed
Their voices were getting louder and louder and suddenly we heard
"Get to work" Jared shouted angrily from his office and everyone ran like mad people
I just shook my head and get back to my computer, doing my own thing.
Two hours later, I went to check on Jared and it turns out that Jane gave out the best proposal that made our boss impressed.
The workers were happy that this project is over and probably they won't have to seat with him in the same room until next month.
The day went by quickly and finally it was time for me to go home. I sighed deeply being thankful that another mad day has ended.
I know that this boss is the piece of work, but honey, I'm just the same as him.
He hates women and I hate men. The difference is that he show them to their face while I don't.
I always laugh and talk with them that's until they push my buttons. That is when all hell break loose.
But with Jared Parker, I know exactly how to put him in his place.
