Jared pov
We were sitting in my office with Kai for more than half an hour, and he was not yet told me what brings him here.
But my smart ass already knew that these two had some secrets going on.
"So, wanna talk about it?" I asked
"Yeah, as I was saying, the furniture..."
"Not that buddy, I'm talking about your little secret with my girl" I said leaning on my chair
Kai laughed nervously and then asked "what are you talking about man?"
"You know that you can't fool me right? We were together last night and I didn't know about this meeting. And to top it all, you came in and she left, now talk buddy what are you up to?" I asked
"Damnit Allysa! I told you" he whispered to himself before smiling at me again "she is planning a suprise for you"
It's a lie. I know when he lies.
"Kai, I've known you all my life, so you should know that I can see through your lies and her lies. I knew she wasn't going to the bridal boutique just by looking at her. So talk before I turn red" I warned
"I told her that she's gonna put me in trouble but she is too persistent" he said
"What do you mean? Where did she go?" I asked
"To see your dad"
"The fuck!" I was on my feet instantly "you let her go see dad? Where the hell is that?" I asked angrily
"Calm down brother" he said
"Calm down? When my woman is out there alone? You know how crazy he can get, and how crazy she can be. They are gonna kill each other Kai" I panicked
I know my dad is stubborn and she is no different. Will they speak nicely? Gosh.
"She is not alone. Harris is with her" Kai said
"Oh, I should have known that all of you are in this. She planned such a dangerous move and you didn't dare to tell me? And Ryan too?" I asked in disbelief
"We didn't think that it's our place to tell you and Ryan doesn't know, only me and baby boy" he said
I paced around not knowing what to say. So, she found my dad. I don't knownif I should hug her or punish he at this point.
I really needed to see my father but knowing him, he doesn't like to be ordered around, and knowing Allysa, ordering everyone around is what she enjoys.
Dad will probably slap her in the face if she order him to see me and Allysa won't agree to be slapped, so she will fight back.
A lot of wild thoughts run through my mind
"No, i should follow her" I said grabbing my coat
"Jared wait" Kai stopped me "trust her, you know she is strong. Nothing bad will happen to her. "
"You don't know that" I said pushing his hand
"I will call baby boy" he said taking his phone and call him
"We are on our way, tell him to relax. She is safe in one piece" Harris said when he pick up the call
"See? She is fine" Kai said and atleast my heart stopped pumping like crazy
We stayed quiet as I think of ways to kill these two guys.
"So, are you mad at me?" Kai asked
"Very" I replied "but, i will forgive your ass cause after all, you are still my brother"
