Jared pov
Six months later
I was pacing in the bedroom back and forth while my wife was in the bathroom taking a pregnancy test.
For six months Allysa has been having a baby fever, so she kept taking dozens of pregnancy tests, but sadly, they all came out negative.
I've been trying to tell her that, she should relax, maybe she can't get pregnant because of her eagerness, and grandpa isn't helping either cause he keep asking if she has gotten pregnant yet.
For over six months, things have been going pretty well for us. My father is permanently back, Allysa's mom is travelling now and Amara is staying with us. We enroll her back in high school and she is doing great.
The door to the bathroom opened and I halt looking at the dissapointed face of Allysa.
"It's negative" she sighed in dissapointment. I went to hug her tightly
"It's okay baby, we will try harder" I said
"Harder than we already are?" She asked pulling away from the hug and went to sit on the bed. I followed her "I count my cycle, taking supplements and still nothing. Do you think this is normal?"
"It is normal, you're nervous and eager. Maybe you should try to forget about it and when the time comes, we will have some good news" I said
"Mmh mmh, this is not normal, maybe we should go to the hospital to get checked" Allysa said
"We don't need all of that. You got pregnant twice, and I got someone pregnant once. So, we are fine sweetheart. Just relax" I said pulling her on my chest. She sighed in defeat and let herself rest in my chest.
"Let's sleep. We need to go to the office early tomorrow" I said
"Okay, let me take my supplements first" she said taking some pills and drink them with water, then we cuddle to sleep.
Let me tell you something crazy, Allysa is still my personal assistant. Even though she is a share holder now, she refused to let another person work for me. She said no one can handle me more than her. And I hate to admit it but it's true.
Allysa pov
Everything was spinning, I couldn't understand what was happening. All I could see is a woman who was covered from head to toe. She was carrying a baby and I was laying on the bed. My stomach was cut open and blood was everywhere.
"Please return my child" I cried
"Your child? What child? Your not worthy of this baby, you will never have babies" she shouted
"That voice. I know that voice. Who are you?" I asked
"Hahahaa..such a stupid woman" she said before turning around
"Wait!" I shouted wanting to stand up but I couldn't, my stomach was open "Jared, Jared wake up" I called "Jared save our child, please wake up..."
"Allysa!" Jared's voice shouted and I quickly sit up
It was a dream. But why does it feel so real?
"Our child" I cried
"Sshh...baby, it's okay. It was just a dream" Jared soothed me
But then..
"Why are your hands bloody?" I asked
"What? What blood?" He looked at his hands
"Don't you see it?" I shouted
"Baby, listen.." he tried to touch me with his bloody hands
"No! Don't touch me" I shouted
And then everything started to get blurry as I see myself talking but I don't understand what I'm saying. Everything was a mess in my head, all I could see is a pool of blood everywhere.
Jared pov
What is happening? One minute we were sleeping and the other my wife started shouting like a mad person. She went totally crazy and now I just called an ambulance.
When the ambulance arrived, she was tied and taken away. I followed them still in a daze like I don't understand what is happening.
When we arrived at the hospital she was taken directly to the emergency and some tests were taken quickly.
"Hey, what happened?" Ryan asked
"I don't know. We were sleeping and suddenly she started shouting and this was the outcome" I replied passing my hand through my hair
"Okay, calm down brother, I will do everything I can to treat her. But first you need to tell me. Did you have any quarrel?"
"No, we talked like always and that was it" I replied
"Is she stressed or currently on any medication?" He asked
"Yes, she is very stressed about having kids and she takes some supplements that's all" I told him
"Can I see them?" He asked
"Yes, but I don't have them right now. Let me tell Bruce to go and take a picture" I said and called Bruce right away since he was at home. We didn't want to wake Amara since she has school in the morning.
Few minutes later the pills were sent to me and I showed them to Ryan. He looked at them and then called doctor Bright. They whispered something and then they called another doctor and gave him some instructions before he left.
"What's going on?" I asked Ryan
"Where did she buy these supplements?" He asked
"Dude, I don't know. These are women stuff, she just came with them one day. What's the problem?" I asked
"Jared, these are no supplements. These are powerful pills that can cause hallucinations and then they can cause total madness"
"What?" I was dumbfounded "who gave my wife those pills? Why do they want to drive her crazy?" I asked myself
"The doctor already went to give her an antidote and run other tests. You can go see her" he said "and be careful next time"
I nod and then walk to the room where my wife was in. When I enter, she quickly sit up
"Oh baby, I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me" she cried as I hug her tightly
"Why are you sorry? You were sick, it's okay" I told her while caressing her hair "the pills you were taking, where did you get them?" I asked
"I bought them. Why?" She asked
"They weren't supplements, somebody must have been exchanged them with the real ones or the pharmacy gave you the wrong pills" I explained "they caused you to have hallucinations and that's why you you got like that"
"But I have been taking them for the past three months. The pharmacy is innocent but someone isn't. Which i can't think of any" she said
There was a knock on the door and Ryan came in with doctor Bright.
"Guys, sorry for interruption but the results came in and we wanted to gave them to you" Ryan said
"Okay, we are listening"
"Everything came out okay, bit there is something that is not good" doctor Bright said
"What is it?" Allysa asked
"We have found a big scar on your uterus. And this means that you can never bare children"
Allysa gasped and tears started to come running on her face
"I'm sorry" Ryan said
"No! This can't be. There must be a way. I can still bare children, there should be a way" she cried
"I'm sorry Allysa but there isn't" doctor Bright said
Allysa screamed in pain clutching her stomach and all I could do is try to calm her down but it was all in vein, since she kept on screaming until Ryan sedated her.
