By some miracle, the party was able to get everyone in the group together to discuss the plan.  Of course, it took a lot of convincing to let Will stay in Hawkins.  Mike was secretly hoping that Will would change his mind, but deep down he knew that he wouldn't.

It took almost two day's to get all the residents of Hawkins out of the town.  After the final busses and ambulances left the large group, the family that had grown so close over the years, gave one last goodbye.

Joyce wraps Will into a hug, she began crying.  "Be safe.  Contact me all the time, do you understand?"  She says while pulling away from him.  Around them, everyone else was discussing plans and saying goodbyes.

"I promise."  Will says to her with a half smile.  "And don't worry about me to much, okay mom?"  She laughs.

"No promises."  She says.

"We've got to go, Owens is waiting for us in California."  Hoppers tells the group.  Mike ran over to Will as everyone was saying quick goodbyes.

"Be careful."  He says, "I don't want to lose you again."  He adds quietly.  Wills face grew hot and he nodded.

"I'll be okay.  He won't hurt me."  Will says confidently.  "You be careful too?"  He asks.  Mike only nods.

"Mike let's go!"  Hopper yells at him.  Mike rolls his eyes.

"Radio everyday, alright?"  Mike asks him quickly.

"Everyday."  Will confirms.  "Now go before Hopper loses it."  He grins.  Mike laughs and runs to the car.

Will watches as the many cars drive down the road, away from him and away from Hawkins.

He wasn't exactly what he should do now.  He hadn't planned that far ahead.  He had a whole town to himself but was at risk of dying at any point.

He decided to go to the hunting and camping store that he hadn't been to since he was younger.  His father brought him there once when he was younger, trying to make him more manly, but it didn't work so he hadn't been back since.

He opens the door cautiously, stepping inside.  He looks around before walking over behind the shelf and grabbing a colt M1911A1 with some bullets.

He loads the gun for protection, knowing it wouldn't do much for him anyway.  But he felt safer with it then he did then without it.

After securing the gun, he goes to the store to grab some food.  He wasn't sure where the safest place to stay would be.  He thought about staying at his old house, but figured that would be weird considering there was a new family that lived there now.

He also thought about staying at Mikes house.  But he figured that would be weird as well.

He pushed the thought out of his mind and walked into the store his mother used to work at.

He didn't know how long he would be staying by himself for, but he knew it was only a matter of time before the food started going bad.

For his age, he surprisingly knew a lot on how to survive by himself.  Or maybe he was just smart in general.

He decided that he should just stay in the store for right now.  It was easier and more convenient for him.

He piled the food into sections and thought about what to do for sleeping.  The thought of sleeping alone like this terrified him more than anything.  But now he knew he had no choice.

He thinks for a moment before deciding to head down the street and around the corner to the mattress store.  Then after he got the mattress he went back to the store, then he left to go to another store, grabbed some blankets and pillows, and then went back to his store.

He set up the store in a way that was conventional.  Content with the results, he finally sat down and played with his shoelaces.

He wasn't sure what to do now.

He reached for his old green backpack, pulling out a sketchbook and a pencil.  He had time to pack and things like that between the two days.

Max had given him her headphones so he could listen to music, just in case.  Jonathan made him a new mixtape which Will was eger to listen too.

He sketches out a picture of the town, empty and abandoned.

He felt more alone then ever.
