It's been ten years since Will has died, nine since Mike.

The two boys deaths had an affect on everyone.  It took a long time for everyone to finally start to get used to life without them.  Of course, they all still missed them.

It hit Eleven the most.  She had lost the two people she cared about more then anyone.  Thankfully she had Max, who was looking out for her.  Even if she did still live in Hawkins.

The group had grown up.  Joyce and Hopper now married, Jonathan and Nancy engaged, Robin and Vickie were in a relationship, Steve was more focused on his job then a relationship, Dustin and Suzie were still together and were planning on moving in together soon, Lucas and Max were still good friends but they had been on a break for a few months.  Eleven was single, not ready for a relationship.  Argyle was still single and doing better with his drug addiction.

Overall, everything worked out the way it was supposed to.

Eleven stood at the two gravestones that were beside each other.

Mike had written a letter before he died, of course.  In his letter, he thanked everyone, explained why he did what he did, and left a request that his gave be next to Wills.

So they all agreed to do it.

It was the ten year anniversary of Will's death, nine year anniversary of Mikes.

El set the flowers down in between the graves and let out a sigh as tears fell down her face.

She wanted to say something, but she couldn't seem to form words for a long time.

She takes a deep breath and sits down in front of the graves.

"I hope you two are together."  She says while wiping her face.  "I hope you both are happy."

She let herself sit there for a long time, crying.  She knew others from the group would be here soon and she didn't want to be around for that.

She stood up and wiped her face off again.

"I love you both."  She says quietly before turning and leaving the cemetery, leaving both boys together peacefully.
